We use ours all the time, it does make you think when you see all the fat.0

If you do get one, go for the four-portion version. I bought the two-person one because it was on offer, but it isn't really big enough to take two portions of most things!
It's great for steaks.
My DD warned me that she had found thick chicken breasts didn't cook through properly, so I haven't tried those.
The drip-tray on the small model just tucks underneath and is quite flimsy.0 -
Sorry to be childish but I love it when dd asks for a toastie done in the gorilla and chuckle everytime. Love ours x0

After reading the thread yesterday, I went out and bought one today!! We are keen on salads, in our house and it will be great for grilling some chicken or salmon or halloumi to have with them.
I was using my panini press but that's seen better days.0 -
I use mine all the time too, my oven doesn't have a separate grill, so I have to grill with the oven door open which I find inconvenient.
I put a wet dishcloth in the Forman whilst it is still warm, leave it to cool & then clean it after we've eaten.

We have had our 'George' for years, having bought it on offer. Ours has temp control, but not removable plates.
Apparently, hulk Hogan was offered the endorsement, but turned it down, which is why it's the 'george' and not the 'hulk'.0 -
We've used one for years . Our problem is that the ' non stick ' wears out long before the electrical components . Then we need to get a replacement .
I cut chicken breasts into a 'butterfly' shape to ensure they are fully cooked . Marinating in balsamic vinegar before cooking gives them more flavour & brown stripes , which looks nice .0
