Thanks, I tried it again but I'm still getting this:
    Netgear DG834GT Modem/router £64.99
    Netgear WG111T USB adapter £33.48
    Discount code: -£38.29

Total=£60.18 (my estimate was slightly our before).

I'm adding the code on the payment page - is that right?
    Any further help appreciated.
That's the right discount.....looking at the price it does seem like what it would be without the free postage. SuperSaver (free) delivery is not the default option - be sure to choose supersaver delivery to get the £53ish price.
  • Thanks the pearce!

Got it working, the total item price changes to £83.30 when you get to the confirmation screen and it does come up at £53.48. Excellent!
  • Guys, can anyone tell me if this router will work for someone who has Blueyonder broadband and a cable\dsl modem?

For cable broadband, it is worth taking a look at Scan's "Today only" page:

    http://www.scan.co.uk/todayonly/

They have a router and laptop card bundle for £38.72 (Kcorp KLS-B52) or if you can spare a bit more cash, the KCorp "Gold" equipment is VERY good for the money:

    KLG575 Gold Router £33.49
    KLG520 Gold laptop card £16.44
    KLG530 Gold desktop card £16.44

    Thanks

    Gavin

No problem - I'm sure you will be very pleased with them.

Wireless routers and cards normally work best when both are the same type and brand but to give you an idea of the quality of the radio in the KCorp Gold router, when the Atheros chipset inside was tested with older 802.11b products, it produced excellent results as well:

So also worthy of consideration if you have an older wireless network you are looking to upgrade.

Please bear in mind that mixing older and newer network cards will reduce the overall speed available to the faster cards.

    Thanks

    Gavin

I got the ode to work last night but canged my mind at the last minute, wasnt sure whether to go ahead or not.

I decided to get the Netgear router & card, tried to order just now, and got this message "Important Message
This order does not meet the eligibility requirements for this offer. Please refer to the details in your promotional offer for further information. "
