For anyone who jumped in for the Netgear kit earlier with the total of 62.98 pounds, you can send an email to Amazon to tell them that it is still under 30-day price promise, and the router dropped down for 10 pounds. You will get a 10-pound refund.

    Hope this helps!
  • Please can somebody PM me with instructions on how to get the netgear router and adapter for £52.

thank you very much in advance for your help.

I've tried, but the best I could get it for £97!

    Thank you.

Won't they then cotton on to the fact it was a misprice in the voucher anyway and say no? What is the contacts address? :)

I have a feeling that they will pull this soon! Especially if people start asking for £10 back. They must have had a reasonable increase in sales recently of this product and may wonder why.

    "

    What we do about mispricings

Despite our best efforts, a small number of the more than 1.5 million items in our catalogue are mispriced. Rest assured, however, that we verify prices as part of our dispatch procedures.

If an item's correct price is lower than our stated price, we charge the lower amount and send you the item.

If a product's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will cancel your order and notify you of that cancellation."

Hmmmm... so they check the price before they send the item out... obviously not checking it that well then or they don't care...

just a reminder that the requesting of codes by PM is not allowed on the board. A couple of posts requesting codes have been deleted. All codes should be placed in the Online Discount Vouchers board only so the source of the code (and if it is allowed for general use) can be checked.

Im considering buying this Netgear router, only question is do i want a
Netgear WG511T 108 Mbps Wireless PC Card, a Netgear - WG311T 108 Mbps Wireless PCI Adapter, or a Netgear WG111T 108Mbps Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter to go with it?

I have a laptop, if that makes a difference, and Im on BT Broadband
  • This kit may well not be mispriced but on general clearance. It would be polite to say the kit has had very mixed reviews... many people have been ripping thier hair in frustration at a long list installation, filmware and stability problems. A quick serch on Netgears own site is testimony to this.

Advice seams to be update the filmware from the Netgear website first.

I think at this price it worth taking the risk, and have bought one, BUT know I may get unlucky so gonna read instalation instructions v carefully.

This is just a friendly warning not to get carried away with this offer and to expect problems... and if you don't have any it a bonus.

  • Nope - I admit defeat, cant get the DG834GT & WT111T to add up to anywhere near the £52 mark mentione previously.
    Mines still around £97
I can get the lower spec DG834g and WG111 down to about £65 but nothing else.
Spent all day on this so far today - I need to get on with some work.
