Did main shop on Saturday and spend lots, but really needed to do that, there was no meat in the freezer except one half shoulder of lamb. Got a choice of meat again. Now have enough for the month I think. Just got to get the milk and some flour and then am nicely set up for the month, bar weekly fruit and veg shop.
So yesterday and today were NSD."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

Hello purple Ivy, Tb (nights - I did them once & never again!!), SS thats great & can relate to feeling a bit naff cos everyone else is spending but I start the week not thinking "ooo I'm skint!" which makes a nice change. Diane how is the no smokig going?
I noticing the more NSD I have the less I want to spend...anyone else find that? Certainly a new phenomenon for me who is renowned for being a shopaholic!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -
My no-spend-on-food has gone wrong this week, I'm finishing the monthly shop that has to last until the end of June. Did this as we have a lot of visitors and I want to get ahead. I think as I've spent far too much of my grocery budget, what I might do is to try and make July a use it up month. We're going away on the 17th, so I think that might work, got lots in the freezer and plenty of lentils etc."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit.
