I've got an interview and they want statements of accounts I dont have (I may have had in the past but I dont have now and have no paperwork kept - have mental health probs so not good at filing stuff for a later date). Am worried sick and have to wait now for 2 1/2 weeks until I can hopefully get this lifted.

Is there anyway you can access the account online? If so try to print or take a screen shot (if using a smart phone). Or try to speak to your bank to send copies of the statements.

Well i got to the second page and realised the OP is 5 years old..really need to be checking before i start reading a thread.

That's the point, its not with my bank and I dont remember anything about it. I had a "finance check" form before Christmas so this might be because these long-dead accounts weren't on there. Surely though have the old account numbers etc and can see thy're dead accounts.
trying not to worry, nothing to hide blah blah blah, easier said than done. I'm trying to get myself well and everytime I think I'm getting somewhere, I get kicked in the b$$$$

do customer compliance officer only deal with fraud stuff as my daughter got one of them letters and she dont work but does live at home and she is under the mental health team and claims but i know she not doing anything wrong so do they deal with anything else as her letter says .......................
we need to see you in order to discuss the benefit we currently paying you we need to ensure your payents are correct and it is essential that you attend this interview to discuss this matter to avoid unnecessary delay plz bring this letter with you to see ................if you arrive late you may not get seen you should note that where there is doubt about whether the conditions for entitlement are et we can suspend payment of your benefit and then rest in bring id etc any advice plz as she has appointment on monday thank you

It means a customer compliance officer is visiting your house next week.

What else do you think it means? The letter does exactly what it is supposed to. Let you know someone is going to visit.

Have just received a letter today asking me to go for an interview at the jobcentreplus, i have to take identity, passport and the usual things bank etc.just wondered jobcentreplus covers DLA ? I have done nothing wrong and don't know why I have been called up. Am on DLA and ESA have heart condition epilepsy and severe osteoarthritis in all my joints, am scared

Is it true these are fraud officers ?
