evening all,
We have had a lovely walk, all along the riverbank and through the woods, stopped off in Arundel for a sandwich and a cuppa, had a look in the Charity shops but did not buy anything. DD texted me to say that her dad as bought her a guitar, she has been on about lessons for a while, so will have to arrange them for her.
OH had a phone call earlier, about that a friend of his who has been in and out of hospital with a brain tumour, apparantly the DR's have told his parents he only has 2 - 3 months to live, he is only in his 30's, its so sad, OH does not know if he can go and see him without breaking down, so does not know weather to visit or not, I have said I think its important that he does, as he might regret it otherwise. It certanly makes you appreciate what you have got.
Going to order the indian in a bit, and watch Dr who, have good evenings all xx0 -
DH has pulled my WM apart as the leak is round the seal. It's now lying in bits, he's out cutting the grass and I have washing to do. Guess I'll have to go to my Mum's tomorrow the :rolleyes:0

I have just spoken to my nephew, he is absolutly fine, despite his mother collecting him from school on Friday, knowing that his care worker was on the way, she made him get in her car by saying that he was just going home for tea, and that she would take him back to the home after, well she got him home and locked him in and said he was not going back as it was not a proper home environment, this is the home where he has not got a matress or duvet  , any way he escaped out of the window, and the police found him at 10 at night, and took him back to the home. He seems really happy and has been out playing football and to the pictures, just normal things, but things he has never has at home. Apparantly his room is a bit bare, but once we know if he is staying we can start to buy him some bits and pieces, he is so much better off there, and its a great relief to know he is happy and safe :T :T
Have good evenings all xx0 -
Wow, RedRuby - I'm so glad he is back at the home, especially if he is enjoying the sort of things a boy his age should be enjoying. If he stays there, you'll all have great fun 'personalising' his room for him. Good luck to him - it's great that he has you on his side, too.
I was so sorry to hear the awful news about your DH's friend - that must be absolutely devastating for all concerned. (((Hugs))) to him and is family.
Well, I have just had a bath. Aussie's Savoury Impossible Pie went down a treat and will definitely be a regular from now on. We are full up and just about to open a bottle of Vino Collapsio. In case I am not in a fit state to return here tonight, have a great evening, everyone.

F127 - yes the hair is a bit scary and as for his dress sense its hilarious - I assume he has got a good sense of humour.
Redruby - good news about your nephew but not about oh's friend (((hugs))) for him.

Have done loads of washing and housework but no ironing so that joy still awaits me.
Think will have an early night.
Enjoy whatever you are doing.

I've suffered terribly from the effects of pmt for the last 16 years but for some strange reason, it seemed to go away a couple of months ago:D
(sorry
)
Another good day folks. Two loads of washing done, a BIG plate of spag bol for tea (and enough left for another 3 days
) an hour in the forest with the BD's during which we came within about 15 feet of a Sika deer  AND I feel as good as I did 25 years ago. What more do I need?
Man try

Greetings from the southwest coast of Ireland where I am in a house clinging to a cliff and listening to the roar of the Atlantic on the beach below...lovely except that the wind is blowing and surf raging...didn't get a walk in to-day but maybe to-morrow!
Hugs to all in need or want...Smoky, Anniestar, Mrs Mix...Taplady so sorry to hear about your little dog, been there and it is horrible.
Night all,
