I love it when all the supermarkets compete! Bad luck on the multivitamins-I've got a 120 pack of folic acid so won't need to buy any more-nevermind. I've got a real thing for branflakes at the moment so need vast amounts of milk!HSBC Visa-High interest-£2349.23 Nat West £2605.18

How's the morning sickness? You ok? Sounds like you're eating anyway so that's good!
My dh is in disgrace again today. He ate all our dinner for tonight last night, selfish g*t. We had roast chicken and I was going to do chicken, salad and JP's for dinner tonight because I didn't really fancy chicken last night and only ate a tiny bit so there was loads left! He knew that as well. He just doesn't think that because i'm pg he should leave some food for me. I don't get it. Most people would put a pg girl first! Oh well. He washed up at least today, (after I shouted at him!)
I do love him but he is driving me round the bend. He just doesn't seem to get that things are changing for us! They have to. We can't just put ourselves first anymore -we've the baby to think of now!
On the up side of things- I've just ordered another £10 voucher towards Christmas from consumerpulse- woolies again as I've already used the last one on pressies. I also got £5.47 from Quidco which is fab and has been put in the christmas account- got nearly £20 cash in there now! £19.26 plus £21.58 when cleared. £40.84! Brilliant! Also got to transfer the gifts money for this month in there so that'll be another £21.58- provided we don't need anything that is!DONE We've got nearly all our Christmas pressies now. Just need the baby so we can make them and a couple of photo frames. I might go and see if I can find some today then try and get a voucher for them off consumer pulse.
So Christmas is pretty well sewn up. Although I tried to get the photo album for my Dad's book and they've sold out and aren't getting any more in! So annoying, I wish i'd bought it ages ago now! Dh brough home the England 5 Germany 1 game on DVD tho so I'll give Dad that anyway!
Today when I checked my internet banking, the transfer from dh's account had finally gone in! That took SO long! So the plan for today is to go to the bank and reduce my over draft by £300!!!!! And pay £614 off my personal loan! I'm so excited! I got paid today which is partly why it's so much as I got slightly more than expected so that's good.
I'm also planning to pack my hospital bag today.
DH is still asleep. It's so annoying, I really want to go to town and sort out money etc!

Just read your thread and laughed as you are having food rows with your DH as well! I've just posted on my diary about our row about tuna! It is REALLY annoying when they don't think about the effort that goes into food budgetting! I'm not feeling too sick which is good-just a little queasy which was the same last time. I always have a good appetite! Your signature is going to look so good when you've paid in your money!HSBC Visa-High interest-£2349.23 Nat West £2605.18

Wow Jaks, that is a brilliant amount off your overdraft well done.
The only thing i could stomach when preggers, was chicken and sweetcorn pizza, and fruit and nut..i didnt even like chocolate, still don't..but had a real craving for it.
During the day i used to sip ginger tea..helped a lot. That was with both of my girls, with my boy, i had no morning sickness at all.
Keep up the good work.

Hi all and thanks. We finally made it into town yesterday and I managed to pay off and reduce my over draft by £300. This is the big one for me really because i've always seen it as sort of an extention of my wages! It has never registered as debt really!
I've left £100 buffer on my account but will be paying that off and trying to stay out of it if I can from next month!
I also paid £614 off my personal loan. I got a bit confused as the guy in the bank said if I pay it off completely i'm liable for a £32.40 charge as it'll be paid off early. However, if I pay off all but 2 or 3 payments then let the last 2 or 3 payment be taken, I won't have to pay this charge. OK. But what I forgot to ask was how much the interest will amount to over these 2 or 3 months. Is it more than £32.40? I wonder how to find out.
I'm not feeling very positive today. I thought i'd be happy because so much money has been paid off but dh and I seem to be driing each other round the bend at the mooment. We had a chat last night because I asked him to do some jobs with me in the garden. He did do them but then complained endlessly about it! The thing I explained to him is that the lifting heavy pots isn't something I can do and my back is pretty bad so it's limiting me quite a lot really! He felt bad then because I started crying but he's back at work now and things still need to be done. I'm worried the baby will come home to a dirty house! I mean it isn't THAT bad, but I want it to be perfect!
On the craving front, I seem to be eating a vast amount of mint choc chip ice cream from iceland. It's SO yummy. Also I bought some really cheap wheat bisk things from Tesco yesterday for 70p and they are really nice. they taste just like weetabix but the texture is different. A bit rougher put together. Nice tho and probably worth a try if you like weetabix.
So tonight big brother comes back on.....I love BB. Mty friend is coming round and I've to decide to either buy frozen pizza and nachos (our BB food) or make pizza. Now usually i'd just buy it but I can't decide. If I make it, I have to 1. use up all our cheese, 2. buy toms, mushrooms, pepperoni, salad so i'm not sure. It might actually work out cheaper to just get a couple of cheap frozen pizzas and chuck in the oven. Hmmm. We will split the cost then, so maybe we'll just do that... I was going to do a special chicken pizza for dh...but as he ATE all the chicken, that's out the window.
I tell you what, I know what Beck means about meal planning and the attitude that 'I pay for food so I should be able to eat what I like...' thing. I can understand where they are coming from but at the same time, it isn't very supportive is it? I mean with our debts, they are all in my name, BUT both of us ran them up on living expenses etc. because dh has only been able to work half the year for the last 3 years! So it's only fair we try and sort them out together!
I showed dh the money book so he could understand where the money is going/went last month. He asked me some questions like where the excess money for the budget went? (Christmas fund) YES we came in slightly under budget...VERY proud! Then he said why don't we put our spends money into savings instead of spending them! Now I appreciate his concern BUT 1. he's already spent most of his 2. He didn't say that when I gave it to him! 3. I explained that if we did that he couldn't have any DVDs because they'd not bde budetted for. I know he mean't well, but...
Anyway, we've agreed to review it at the end of the month and see how we're getting on...

469.58 Blimey that's loads!!! I hope we can cut that right back!
In black i'll update totals when I can. We've spent a lot so far as it's only June 5th, but we've got full cupboards and will only really need milk and bread for most of the rest of the month. I want to run down the freezer and defrost it before the baby comes so we need to eat up all the food in there. Then at the end of the month, I want to fill it right up to the brinm with batch cooked stuff and am saving ice cream containers to put leftovers in. Also easy cook food. I'm not a great fan of chuck in the oven food, but i'll get a few bits to save on time etc. I wonder what it'll be like! I'm so excited now. Only 5 weeks and 6 days till my due date!!!

only five weeks till due date-how exciting! It has been easier for us tho on the grocery front as dh eats at work aprrox 4 days out of 6 and I was until now too. I expect our bill to increase which is something i'm a bit worried about to be honest!
She says just as she's about to go and buy some pizza from iceland to eat in front of BB, and garlic bread, and doritos...possibly ice cream....
hmmmmmmmmm.
