Well it's my last night at work for a year! Brilliant! It has been awful! I had 5 or 6 drunk blokes shouting at me because I asked them to get their keys! I thought I was going to have to call the police! I was told to f*** off and p*** off and to call the manager and had to turn all the lights out in the bar to get them to leave! Honestly! What disgraceful behaviour! Obviously I didn't call the manager as errrrm at nights, that's me! But told them my name and that I was more than happy for them to speak to management in the morning and that I certainly would be! I hate to play the pregnancy card...but what kind of people behave in a threatening manner to a pregnant girl by herself in the middle of the night???? They should be ashamed of themselves! I'm very proud I didn't cry...well I did but they'd gone upstairs by then thank God.
I'm staying down here tonight in case they're waiting for me to do my rounds....Thank God it's my last shift! I can't stop shaking!

I hope you are alright after your last night at work. Isn't it typical that you get some nasty customers on your last night. I don't think you are playing the pregnancy card at all-I hope that they are waking up with very bad heads and bad consciences this morning about their terrible behaviour. Your new budget looks good. I'm glad you are giving yourself a little bit of a spend each month. I just know from experience that after I had my son I felt like I really needed a bit of a treat to give me a bit of a lift-eg some new clothes, a new hairdo etc and if it is budgeted for it is guilt free. Enjoy the start of your maternity leave.

Oh dear. I've just had another look at my budget and I forgot to include:
    home improvements inc. garden: £10
    clothing: £20
I need both of these this month as I need pots nad grow bags for my veg. and nursing bras and nighties/pjs for hospital. I've managed to get most of the other baby realted stuff now so it's just a couple of bras adn night wear really. I cannot believe how expensive nursing bras are! £25 for 2 at my mothercare and the same at Marks.

At least its all over with now Jak. YOu can put your feet up and relax. The budget looks very good, and i agree with all previous comments about primark and flogging on Ebay.

    12. use credit card for any shopping to get airmiles- remembering to make a note of exact cost and move money to savings to compensate! Not yet. I'm a bit nervous about using it...
    13. Find high interest savings account to do above with!
    14. hurry Mum up with A&L referral.
