The fruit's disintegrated a bit, so it's probably overcooked. Tastes great though, still nice & sharp, I thought I might have added too much sugar. If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
Very good but this getting too easy now.
When is the Sunday roast thread going to appear?de do-do-do, de dar-dar-dar0 -
looks very tasty, my gran used to put a pinch of bicarb soda into rhubarb that she was stewing to take away the acidity so you didnt need so much sugar, not sure if it would work with goosies0

Woo! Nice crumble, MrBE!
I second the call for a roast dinner. Or something equally complex. You can't get stuck in a comfort zone, y'know0 -
That looks good enough to eat0

Oh Mr BE, you're no fun anymore - you can cook better than I can, mind you, that's not saying much :rotfl:
My today's attempt at muffins have gone straight in the bin, but to be fair, I think my ovens' thermostat is on the blinkYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
:T :T :T MrBE. That looks scrumptious - and I hate goosegogs with a passion. Mind you, I used to hate rhubarb too, but I now love it in crumble, pie *and* yoghurt.spendy/she/her ***DEBT-FREE DATE: 11 NOVEMBER 2022!*** Highest debt: £35k (2006) MY WINS: £3,541 CASH; £149 Specsavers voucher; free eye test; goody bag from Scottish Book Trust; tickets to Grand Designs Live; 2-year access to Feel Amazing App (worth £100); Home Improvement & Renovation Show tickets; £50 to spend on chocolate; Harlem Globetrotters tickets; Jesus Christ Superstar tickets + 2 t-shirts; Guardians of the Galaxy goody bag; Birmingham City v Barnsley FC tickets; Marillion tickets; Dancing on Ice tickets; Barnsley FC v Millwall tickets0

Yeah, it was a bit easy, but it wasn't really meant to be a cooking thread...just a few questions and you lot all got carried away.
