You may well be paying brochure price, BUT, if you go through the dedicated Clubcard Virgin tel number, you are less likely to get away tring to pay for all the bits that are not covered by CC deals, If you phone Virgin main reservation number, (late on a Friday night) you might just get VERY lucky and be able to pay for EVERYTHING with CC deals!!!:D

    ah i see :D

we are booking with cosmos for next summer though, not virgin :(

When you say 2 tickets to Paris, I hope you don't mean Eurostar as I think these are no longer available via Clubcard Deals.

Nope, I mean flights. I would've done Eurostar, but I already noticed they discontinued that. And actually, I *think* you could get Eurostar through the Airmiles site using your vouchers, but it costs much more than flights, rather than being cheaper as the old CC deal was. I didn't look into it closely though as it wasn't a desirable deal.

Have any of you converted them to the tesco airmiles and if so how do they work? What kind of holidays have you had and does it work any better than the holidays packages.

Last year we used them for a Haven Holiday at All Hallows, the accommodation was dreadful, never again.

For ordering the vouchers to spend at Butlins, do they put your name and post code on it, as that's what it says in the blurb. I want to try and use my mum's tesco vouchers as she has the same name as me, but different postcode.

    Thanks.
  • My Butlins vouchers arrived about 5 weeks ago. They only had Surname on them.
:j :j :j :j Thanks to all the MSE members for helping me out with coupons and vouchers :A :A :A :A :A
  • Please be aware if using tesco cc vouchers if booking any of the Cosmos holidays owned by Monarch now. The maximum allowed per holiday is now £800 as i found out to my peril last November 2009.
I found out after saving for 2 yrs for a dream holiday that my £1500 worth of vouchers couldnt be used in one go. I still managed to get a discount even though they shouldnt give one apparently. I think it depends on the operator on the day TBH, as they steered me towards a better package on a slightly different date which was good value. :jthe price when checked today on the internet if i had gone direct is just £47 cheaper.
so i think i still got a bargain.
I am however still waiting to see if tesco will credit my vouchers i couldnt use, as they had outrun their use by date:mad:

It isn't £800 per holiday, it's £400 per person, ok it's only £800 if only 2 people are travelling but can be more depending, on how many people are going.

I was hoping to use mine towards a cottage in Cornwall but seemingly no such deals exist.
