Has anyone used Tesco clubcard vouchers for money off an holiday?

MOCs are Money Off Coupons
my store will accept one of each, so long as in date

so if you can get lots of different ones = lots of money off your shopping bill

you can get them from newspapers ,magazines,food packaging etc
also for sale on ebay
if you have a printer you can print some out :

you could buy things with extra points and then sell them at car boots or to friends etc

this is what a lot of people do with the wine ,nappies,wipes etc

Me either, I'm thinking of selling my £80 worth on there, I doubt i'd ever use them tbh so they would only get wasted.

You can order the deals online through the Tesco website, just go to the Deals section, into the Deal you want, then order the vouchers.

I've never actually booked a holiday online using the Deals, I usually just book over the phone.

I've stayed in Silver accom at Butlins several times, and always been very happy, but last time we went Standard. All glasses & cups were dirty, you couldn't see out of the windows they were so filthy, I wouldn't let my baby crawl on the carpet as it was sticky (!) and there was a random 3ft stick of wood in the bathroom - oh, and several cracked & missing tiles in the bathroom too.......I know it's cheap & cheerful, and we might have just been unlucky, but I'll always book Silver from now on.....you have been warned

you have to ring a special deals booking number and quote the numbers off your deals vouchers

It's best you dont book via the dedicated booking number for deals though;)
I called normal Virgin holidays tel number, Went right through the booking and when it came to payment, I then mentioned I was paying in deals! That way you know you are not paying over the odds.

WE fly out next week to Florida, 2 weeks, family of 4, all payed for by CC deals.
I strongly advise that you join www.paidtoshop.co.uk, where you will see lots of people having more than oone long haul courtesy of Mr T every year!

you pay brochure price anyway though ?

when i rang frenchlife for a quote beforehand, there wasnt that much difference in using deals,compared to paying cash

think cosmos add on a bit though

I get my points converted to airmiles and then book brochure holidays using airmiles as my travel agent.....they pricematch holidays!

I just want to thank everyone on this board who shares info! I had been putting all my vouchers back towards paying for groceries as I didn't know how the deals worked and if they really worked reliably. I learned different from this board and having been saving vouchers for two tickets to Paris -- when I get the next mailing we'll have about £48 in vouchers, and lots more by next August as I'll be doing a wine order with extra points, started using a Tesco credit card, and will be sending back some mobile phones for recycling (and points!). Since we wanted to go in August, I don't know that our next vouchers will arrive in time, so we may wait until winter or next spring before we have a travel window again. But by then we may even have enough for hotel rooms! Thanks to all!

When you say 2 tickets to Paris, I hope you don't mean Eurostar as I think these are no longer available via Clubcard Deals.

You may well be paying brochure price, BUT, if you go through the dedicated Clubcard Virgin tel number, you are less likely to get away tring to pay for all the bits that are not covered by CC deals, If you phone Virgin main reservation number, (late on a Friday night) you might just get VERY lucky and be able to pay for EVERYTHING with CC deals!!!:D
