Has anyone used Tesco clubcard vouchers for money off an holiday?

Thinking of using my tesco clubcard vouchers for money off an holiday, has anyone used their vouchers in this way and have you saved a lot? Never used them for any deals before just for money off my shopping.

Also does anyone know when the next lot of vouchers are due out ?

According to the Clubcard pages on the Tesco site the next voucher issue is due this month: they are sent out Feb, May, August and November.

I know of lots of prople who have used them towards a holiday - just be warned that you need to pay a large portion of it with vouchers cos they charge you full price, no discounts can be used with Tesco vouchers.
BTW, no-one should EVER use the vouchers in store - you can sell em on ebay at around twice face value! ;)

Yes, I've had three holidays at Butlins using only CC vouchers, and am going to be booking another shortly. It's the only thing I use the vouchers for, and it gets us about three 4 night breaks a year.

Top tip - if you're going to use on Butlins, DON'T go for standard accommodation - it's the pits!!!

:D Paid for a week in a cottage with French Life 2 years ago - no problems. Go for it, but remember you pay the brochure price - no discounts.

Off to Egypt in summer - AI 5* paid for with Tesco CC points. Ok - I had to pay full brochure price which was approx. £120 more per person but considering how much we saved, I was more than happy with this. :D:D

Have been to EuroDisney twice (family of 5) - all paid for with vouchers
And half a 2 week cosmos villa with pool to Menorca (total holiday cost £4k, but we paid for £2.5k with vouchers - took us 2 years to save!). It means you can't haggle with the holiday companies, but tbh, there is no way 5 of us would have been able to go away for 2 weeks in the summer holidays to the sort of villa with pool we had in Menorca. It was fab. Just a tip - phone and check the availability of your holiday and make sure its available before you order your vouchers. We then say we are paying by vouchers and you have 5 days to send in your tesco clubcard vouchers. Then get on the phone to tesco to transfer your vouchers into deals. Once you get them send them recorded delivery to the holiday company (which makes it within the 5 days). Another tip - you can't hang on until the next lot of deals come out (ie, we paid for what we had in vouchers and then asked if we could pay the balance (due a few weeks before holiday) by our next lot of clubcard vouchers, but we weren't allowed to, so we paid the remainder on our c.card).
Never spend them in-store. We went to Legoland for £20 in vouchers (would normally have cost £80 and there are loads of days out and magazine subscriptions etc etc.
Hope you find what you are looking for! x

we have a haven holiday and a day at blackpool pleasure beach every year with vouchers
Just booked a 4 night break at blackpool haven. used £70 worth of vouchers then another £25 will be used for 4 wristnamds for the pleasure beach. A 4 night break and a day at the pleasure beach for under £100 BRILLIANT!! If we paid to get in pleasure beach it'd cost us over £100.

As others said, dont use them in store. Dunno how people can use others tho cos the only send the deals to your clubcard address. How can people sell them on e bay? trouble with that practise is, things like that will make them withdraw the scheme and then we'll all lose out. people always have to be greedy

Just tried to book for August 2008 using our vouchers, but Cosmos are now only accepting bookings for Florida for 2008, otherwise we can book for 2009. So, no holiday in the sun.
Wish we had known there was a cut-off point!
