Just been to the Odeon to buy my tickets, they don't take it 'in store' either.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

My local council don't take it for council tax payments either! To solve that problem, I have a prepaid Mastercard from Cashplus. There are several prepaid cards out there but I chose cashplus. If you want more information look at their website https://www.mycashplus.co.uk. I try and keep it topped up with some money for emergencies and haven't found anywhere that doesn't take it.

Yes 5YP, I have an application ready to take to the post office to activate, but I can't quite bring myself to part with the £15 it's going to cost me to get it up and running!
I'm quite amazed with myself really, pre-BR i'd have not thought twice about it, but now it's coming out of my carefully planned budget I just cannot do it
That's a real bummer the council not taking it, luckily mine does.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
Hi
Slightly off what you asked, when you use the Co-op's Electron card, write down what you have spent, as the Co-op bank are a bit slow updating on-line banking! That was my only niggle with the Cashminder account:eek:
