See RosyC.....you have some new friends already. Told you this was a great place. Just keep posting every day and you'll soon have a few firm (although still virtual) friends that you can talk to about anything. It's often easier being anonymous too as you can really be honest and no-one knows who you are.

Thankyou everybody, am so relieved to have some replies. I feel better now for writing it down. I do try to stay positive but yes, i do get very tired. Am just having a huge panic attack about the future at the moment but am so glad I decided to post. Think I am just so sick of not having anyone to turn to at the moment
There is always someone here to chat to :) I think you've done amazingly at reducing your debts and you've done the worst part, so I'm sure things will start looking brighter soon.

It looks as though you have done fantastically well already in reducing your debt from £17,000 to £3,000 :T . There is light at the end of your very long tunnel and you must keep believing in yourself.

That is a fantastic achievement:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T Totally agree with Suzysu.

Aww cheer up rosy. I do understand though that things (life!) can get on top of you sometimes, I think that lots of us feel like that at times. You might not think so at the moment but your situation isn't that unusual and as others have said, you've done an amazing job of reduncing your debts so far -you should be very proud of yourself.

Perhaps now might be the time to using a a little bit of more your budget for going out, socilaising or getting a new hobby? Also, is there any chance of getting a new person to share with, I used to have lodgers and although I'm happy to live alone now I must admit I do miss thier company now and then.

    Best of luck

Can't do quotes yet, it took me half an hour to find out how to post! SuzuSu, you are right, it's so much easier to admit to things to people you don't know, I feel like a weight is off my shoulders just admitting to how I feel and writing it down.

Rosy....to quote, just go to the post you want to quote from and press the 'Quote' button. You will get all that post in the reply box - just delete the bits you don't want (hope I've explained that correctly).

rosyc, sorry if this has been repeated but I thought I was heading for a breakdown when my ex left, although I was left with massive debts I decided that I there was a life out there and I have my health and I'm older than you! I've opened up a lot on here and told people a lot of personal stuff. Sometimes it's good just to have a good rant and let it all out. Believe me though, being single is the best thing I've done in a long time. I've had a lot of time to reflect and think about things and take care of myself. I have stress, mainly my debts but they can and will be sorted, my mental and physical health is more important and so are my brilliant mates. Honestly, being single is not a bad thing. Enjoy it while you have the chance.

And a massive well done on clearing your debts. I'm still nearer the £17 k mark  but getting there! Maybe I'm enjoying my singleton life a bit too much...!

You've done so well. You should be proud of yourself.
