Homealone,
I also got this email from Odeon
You can still book in advance on a credit or debit card.
You just need to show your card at the Cinema box office in order to claim a complimentary ticket for yourself or a guest
I have just sent off for my card today. They required a copy of DLA form, a passport photo and a £5 cheque. The only thing I found strange was you have to write your name on the back of the photo then stick it to the form. How are they going to see your name? Oh well I'm sure it will be fine.Me transmitte sursum, caledoni0 -
This is great thanks. I get DLA because of my deafness. Difficult benefit to claim I know but worth it if you can get help to complete the forms!!!
I'm off to find a cinema that has the application form...0 -

Heheehehehe
I'm gonna look into this, but I had to share a giggle...
My fiance has just been awarded DLA because of his PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder), which presents in many ways, with many symptoms and behaviours
He won't go to the cinema unless it is a weekday and not in school holidays
It's one of the reasons he was awarded DLA (among many, of course)

well, your form (i presume!) already has your name on it. so as long as your photo stays on the form, they know who's photo it is anyway.
however should your photo fall off the form, they will then be able to read the back of it to work out who's form it came from! They call me Mr Pig!0 -
Nici - you don't need to go to the cinema to get a form - you can print one off. Go to https://www.ceacard.co.uk and download the form. Just thought it would save you a trip.Me transmitte sursum, caledoni0

I am registered Disabled and have been going to Concerts, Theatre and Cinema buying a full price ticket for myself and my carer goes free. I just went to the Box Office the first time showed proof of my entitlement. My details are entered on the Database so each time I ring to book tickets now I am automatically only charged for one ticket. This was totally free to register.0
