Arkonite - the 102 cents per litre is approximately 70 pence per litre. I came back from Donegal on Sunday night and it was generally 104.9 cents per litre around Letterkenny. The cheapest price was 103.5. The exchange rate is approximately 3/2 at present. That is divide the euro price by 3 and multiply by 2 to obtain the sterling price.0

I believe Bio-Diesel is being sold in Crumlin for 70p per litre. Does anybody know if it is OK for a 2000 Toyota Avensis TD? Will all diesel cars run Bio-Diesel? What about damage to the fuel pump?0

ring your dealer to confirm but I believe the main problem is with the fuel filters and it is caused by switching between bio and standard diesel.
In other words if you start using bio, your best to run your tank right down (until empty), fill up with bio, run the tank right down again, fill up with bio again and change your fuel filters. If you want to change back then you should repeat this process.Plenty of mistakes, but no regrets.0 -
Diesel is 103.9 today at Texaco, Muff0

i tried biodiesel from a garage outside ballymoney on the main road to coleraine in my audi last year. it dissolved my rubber fuel hoses
and even though it was 70p per litre did NOT save me money thanks to my repair bill! so be careful...
diesel was 99c in dundalk earlier in the week. i tend to fill up there instead, as i'm over the border occasionally with work.0 -
In Omeath, the fuel is generally dearer in the Emo station on the right hand in the middle of the village. About 300 yards down on the left, there is a shop (beside the graveyard) with 2 pumps. Normally about 5 cent cheaper per litre. Small family business too, and I'd rather give them the trade.I haven't been asked to tell you that I'm the Board Drunk for this board. As the night wears on, my posts will become worse, with simple spelling mistakes, inane ramblings, and a blatant disregard for the truth. I have no authority to do anything, so there's no point asking or telling me. If you see me past midnight, please tell me to get my coat and order me a taxi.
