Tesco Lisnagelvin (Derry) unleaded went from 91.9p to 93.9p overnight.
Unleaded is 78.9p at the border so guess where I'm going!!!0 -

Interesting article on the news this morning with the AA claiming that many of the petrol stations in the Republic of Ireland are profiteering by overpricing their petrol by as much as 40cents per litre. I guess when you have a neighbouring country that charges much more then you can charge what you like

The petrol stations near the border have been doing this for years but never realised it was by so much, if you are driving to Dublin it is sometimes worthwhile holding off until your are nearer there as the price can be cheaper...0 -
The border petrol stations have always had their prices a cent or two higher than what it should be. Given that 60c out of every €1 of petrol goes back to the Irish government - an overcharge is understandable!0

Can anyone give a current price for diesel further south? Yesterday - it was 1.14 euro per litre in Omeath.sufferinsnickerinrickrastadley0
