Ok shameful I know but I knew it was a very ambitious jump and I am fairly pleased with myself. I have lots in the cupboard and of course I face a glut from the garden in June and July (that's if those b****d slugs don't have ALL of it) so the next two months should be pretty good and hopefully I will break even by the end of the summer.

So cashing in May with a ginormous overspend with £254.84.

    run away and hide now.

After following this thread for about a year I completely lost the plot this month. I have no idea how much I spent and don't even dare to think abut it. I am going to set my budget at £200 for June.

    Hi!

Declaring £201.22 for May - £18.78 under budget! I'm very happy with that for my first go. For June I will aim for £250 - a bit higher than Mays target but this will be for food, clothes, toiletries, going out etc - everything that is not a household bill infact. In May I literally just counted food so June will be a real challenge! June started today for me so I'm off to find the June thread and put todays spend up then update my sig.

Declaring £303.77 for May - but had food paid for by OH's company for the return ferry journey to the Netherlands last week so should really add another £50 quid to that :o - still way under the £450 budget :j
Budget for June £400 (no free food this month though so should be more challenging!)

    Hi

My total for May is £122.27 which is £27.73 under budget:j .

I'm declaring £150 again for June. I'm not sure i'll manage as well next month seeing as i've run my cupboards and freezers right down. I'm going to try and do a big on line shop at the start of the month then all i should need to buy is fruit and veg each week.
