I'm going to do this slightly different as I got totally confused with my challenge this month..lol
In future I am going to do the monthly challenge from the 20th to 20th of every month, which is when DH gets paid each month. Does that make sense???
So for May I am going to declare £196.85
For the challenge next month can you put me down for £250.00. Thanks MrsM..Mortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

Here I am declaring for May 2 days early, as I am officially skint so couldn't spend if I wanted, lol.
MrsM - May (5 weeks) comes in at £428.35 - 50% over budget (which is, scarily, the best month so far), and with the lowest weekly average of any month this year - so whilst over, it is getting better.
I've set next month's budget higher (but still lower than average spend) and we'll see how it goes - I think I've been unrealistic so far.DFW Nerd no. 884 - Proud to [strike]be dealing with[/strike] have dealt with my debts0 -

My June target is again £100 as prices are going up soooo much.
Thanks to Mrs M and all the others who keep the forum running and good luck to everyone next month.

farewell to the May Challenge, although I was only observing, my May spend was £310.91p. I have declared £300 for June, but there's been a spanner thrown in the works already. We have decided to take our campervan on the continent for 2 weeks (10th-24th) and Mr. Le Foot tells me we are having a couple of nights away with friends as well (in a hotel in Herefordshire Ugh! :eek: ) I think those 2 nights will probably cost as much as the 2 weeks self catering on the continent. The fuel for the continent trip, and the weekend won't be taken out of the June GC, but food and 'spends' for the 2 weeks will....so wish me luck!!:rolleyes:Feb. G.C. From Jan 26th £350.00
First month..pure guess!! Wk. 1 £136.38 balance £213.62. Wk.2 £108.10p balance £105.520 -
Well...came in at £38.34 over budget (which was set at £400) so total spend was £438.34- however, I did buy my DD a whole load of summer clothes out of this aswell....so I didn't think I did too badly really:rotfl:
Have also got nappies/wipes/dishwasher tabs/washing powder/softner etc for the next month - so am fairly well stocked up.
Have take my overspend off next month's budget...so about to go & post this on the June thread...see you all there:A20p Saver Club #33 60p/£100

Didnt think I would do it:rolleyes::heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls0 -
Hi, just added up final total for May, would like to declare at £434.72.
Don't really think we have spent any less than before joining the GC, however, we are eating better, healthier, the only ready meal being Pizza, and rarely eat takeaway. With the price of food constantly going up, surely we have saved on what we would've spent.
:T
Congrats to everyone, no matter how big or little the success. See you on the June GC. :j :j :j0 -
Another extravagant day. 76p on 2 packets of crisps for the DDs from the village shop, munched whilst playing in the park. Dinner out this evening was a treat from my dad who also gained the DDs for the weekend. I was hoping to get away with not shopping till next weekend but we're out of milk and OHs cider drinking friend is flying in from France arriving early tomorrow.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500
