Hi everyone
Sorry I haven't been around for a few days - it has been a manic weekend which culminated in a visit to Chester Zoo yesterday
I did also manage to get to Mr M's yesterday and I did manage to only buy BOGOF's and use the £5 off voucher which means we did get £61.03 of food for £25.53.
Some of it was buscuits but everything is something we will use and quite a bit of it has gone in the freezer/store cupboard.
I amongst other things were 2 large jars of coffee, 8 packets of baby wipes, 4 packets of crumpets, 4 stir-in sauces and 8 packes of instant mash potato - all of these have gone in the freezer/store cupboard for emergencies or lazy days where normally we would get take away
I also got a lot of quick cook bits and snacks because the kids are on half term and I know work want me to try ad go in at some point.
You certainly couldn't do a full weeks shopping this way (hardly anything healthy or to use for people who cook from scratch) but you could top up store cupboards, etc.
Will update signature in a moment.

thanks everybody for the hugs, good wishes and encouragement. As I know the focus won't be good for the next few months am going to have a large budget to begin with and cut it down bit by bit. So will budget for €200 pw, €800 for June (approx £140/£540). Know that is a major amount, but due to relying on takeaways have been spending the 200 pw on food alone for the past while. From June 2 the 200 will go for: food, all grocery, dogfood (Science Hills 65 pm) milkman, fruitman, coalman (€35 pw at mo!!) and any bits of clothing etc needed. Will do my shopping on a Monday and only withdraw housekeeping on that Monday to try to keep myself on track. Unfortunately haven't time to go to Derry to shop but will try to get that sorted in July. So that's the plan, will keep track of everything in a wee notebook and update as often as I can, know I haven't posted in ages but will work on that too, thanks again everyone.Credit card €7892.36/€ 0
Catalogues €767.52/€ 0
hospital costs €550
