Halfway though my month and only spent £90. It would have been alot more but Asda messed up on the delivery and forgot loads of the treat stuff. Havent stuck to this weeks meal plan due to hot weather and not feeling like eating as much.

That ice cream we get is stunning..not overly sweet.. and only €1.49 a litre and it is far better than hagandaz or ben n jerries :j i use to be an ice cream addict but since deciding to lose all this excess "wobble" i now just pinch 1tsp of hubby when he has some an im happy

just had another thought on the twinks :rotfl: replacing the syrup with the syrup from the jar of stem ginger in the cupboard :j ..must stop thinking about them - i was good and only had 1 when i made them yesterday

Another £3.61 to add in today. Wandered to Mr M's at lunchtime and got a salad from their salad bar (I know it's expensive and I'm ashamed!), some pears, and some crisps :o( Mostly naughty stuff.

Felt a bit rotten today, forgot to take the chicken out the freezer so just pasta and sauce for tea tonight, then out in the garden to earth up the potatoes and poke the seedlings! Then pretended to be Bill Oddie and do Wildlife on One with a deer in the field and a woodpecker in one of the apple trees :o) Nice way to finish the evening!

It's taken me 3 days to catch up with all the posts on this thread:

Searching_me - hope all is well
    JennyBee - congratulations
Zend & Mrs Snowy - (((Hugs)))

A bit of excitement for me today - my runner beans are poking thru :j (I lead a very boring life!) - no sign of the peppers yet, but have now been and bought some carrots, parsnips and spinach seeds on the strength of this gardening success.

Have managed to have quite a few NSD's, living from freezer/storecupbaord in the last week, but I need to get my head round some menu planning and stock up again so my total spend will jump up in the next day or so.

2 NSD for me which is just totally unheard of. I am dead pleased with myself.

Made a wholemeal loaf today, made the dough in BM with whoopsied wholemeal flour from Asda and then baked in the oven. It's lovely really light which is great because everytime I have tried to make wholemeal before it never turned out right.

we use value ones 12 for 1.12 there a bit smallerper roll but and don't block the toilet like the really thick stuff(kids) and less than 10p give em a go i think asda do a pack of 4 for 38p if you don't want to get stuck with em

    Shaz

Thanks for the advice Shaz. I have tried them, But DH rebelled. He's quite happy to use any other value stuff, but refuses to use this. I'm not going to push it as been so supportive in all other areas.
Thanks to all the lovely people on here I have managed to cut my hours down to 2 days a week, allowing me to spend more time with my gorgeous Children. :j
