    Hurrah its payday!!

I cant wait to pay some money off my debt, however I need to wait until around 10th August until I make a payment, possibly even the end of August.

But from what I can see it looks like I will be paying around £227/228 from my loan (standard payment) on 4th August.

Then around £140 onto my credit card (by end of August) and then whatever I can afford as an exta payment. May be around £100 (depending on if we decide to pay for Alton Towers thsi month or next month).

So all in all i think i will be paying of: £468 roughly (at least).

    So totals will be:

    Loan: £227.42

    Credit Card: £2,113.09

    Mum: £4,750.00

Your debt is going down nicely Amy, like djdymond said, just think of the end result, its something that keeps you going and motivated.

    Hiya Amy,

I love paying money off my debt, but i hate seeing the money going out my bank, its always such a great chunk of my wages, hey ho, my own fault for getting into debt!!

I hope you sort things out with your bro Amy. I hate rowing with my bros and sis.

Shame MSE doesn't have a Kent meet, that would be cool. But yup, if i'm ever your way, or you mine (Maidstone when i move back), let me know and we can meet up!!

Have a great day with your family amy x

    :hello:

I had a few days off this week, which meant a bit of spending, but surprisingly a lot less than I thought.

I havent paid much extra off my credit card yet as I am not sure when we are paying for Alton Towers. I think we are paying this weekend, which will mean £75 I will need to put towards that. Hopefully by Monday (11th) i should be able to make an extra payment. :D

I seem to be collecting a lot of change at the moment as well. I have worked out I need:

£6 in 50ps, 80p in 20ps, 50p in 10ps, 6p in 2ps, 40p in 1ps to be able to bank £45 in change. Not sure i will make the £6 in 50ps, but even if i dont thats still £35 i can bank. And with my £2 coins at £30 i need another 5 and I will be able to bank £40. Added together that pays for Alton Towers.

Sorry to waffle, its in my head and I wanted to get it written down. :o

Only 3 weeks tomorrow until payday. :rotfl:

    :hello:

Blimey I have been a lapse with this diary recently

Good news. I booked Alton Towers yesterday. It cost £68 per person, which is less than I thought. Thats for 1 night in the hotel and 2 days in the park. We are going 28/29 September, which gives me enough time to save some money for it. Im so excited! :rotfl:

I havent made an extra payment on my credit card yet. I am going to wait until near the end of the month. This is because i lent my sister some money last week so she will be giving it to be by the end of next week. :D Wont be a big overpayment, but it will be something at least.

Penny jar is filling up nicely. I have also decided to wait until the end of the month to cash it in.

Thats pretty much it really. Im on target to be interest paying debt free by the end of November 2008. I really hope i can make it October at least.

Either way, at least its 2008.

Well its not been going very well recently.

I have had a lot of family problems the past week or two and then last week I also found out the default from British Gas will not be removed. They are saying i owe them at least £50 of the £130 the default is for and all sorts of other things. I was so angry last week, it just topped off a rubbish week.

I may also be in a tad of trouble with work, nothing major, but again something I could do without.

I havent overspent really, but not really paid anything off either, i seem to have completly lost all motivation. As bad as it sounds, i just cant even bring myself to look at my spreadsheet. :o

Also the whole shared ownership thing doesnt look like its going to be as smooth sailing as first thought, especially not with that default on my file and the 2 others that will still be there in 2010 (when i am hoping to purchase).

I would love to buy a property by myself, but unfortunately they would need to come down by £40K for me to be able to get a sniff of a mortgage.

Ah well. Just having a bit of a down day/week/month.

im sure i will bounce back.

awww dont worry sweet, we all have down moments. youll be ok. things do crop up but youll manage! i know you really wanna buy somewhere of your own but just repeat in your mind "ill get there ill get there" its not as if its an impossible dream! yes, it may take longer than you want to get there, but you WILL one day and itll be so worth it. all this will just be a distant memory!! just thank your lucky stars you started to pay off debt when you did. can you imagine having that lightbulb moment today?? you might still have been on 11k, perhaps more!! youve done so well to get this far, youve put in this much effort, your allowed to be a bit fed up now and then. your only human!

chin up babe, just take it all one step at a time! xxx
