Wow, that's brilliant :D Hope you manage to get that dream house one day :)

Thank you, i hope so too!

Its all in the plan (me and my spreadsheets  ). I should have enough saved up by January/February 2010, co-incidentally a CCJ i got (and didnt know about for 4 years!) falls off my file then as well. :j

    :hello:

Well quite a DFW weekend i must say. Went to dinner on Saturday with my sister and nephew and she treated me for all of my help recently. It was a lovely cavary and was only £3.50 each so we shall definitely be going back.

Saturday night we had an evening in watching DVDs, and ate some chocolate cake that my nephew had made at his school.

Sunday i took my sister to the cinema, thanks to Diet Coke free tickets. :j

I have also decided I am going to try and shop at Iceland for my weekly shop, as if you shop over £25 you get free delivery, and they do chicken for my cats. :D

    :hello:

Having problems getting my P60 from my current employer. Stupidly long story, and one I dont fully understand, so i wont bore you, but the Tax Office has said they can just send in a Statement of Earnings detailing what they paid me in March 2008, how much was deducted for tax and NI and hopefully that should give them all they need to work out my rebate. All i need now is work to do it... hmmmm...

And O2 are still useless. Again far far too long winded to go into but the memory card will be with me tomorrow... apparantly... watch this space! :rotfl:

Apart from that im fine and dandy. Happy its nearly the weekend as I am shattered and could do with just chilling in front of the TV. I have next Thursday booked off for my tattoo (£200  ) so that should be good. I did my online shop at asda on Monday night (to be delivered on Friday) and that should be it until payday, and if my calculations are correct I should have £50 left over, which i can slap on the CC when i next get paid.

I have been thinking so much about getting a house, its boardering obsessive now. :p And I have even been thinking about getting a car again. However this will not be until I am debt free, but still, just having a little look around. ;) Might go and get an insurance quote and see how much roughly it will be.

We all need something to aim for Amy, and a buying a house is a great target with which to focus your money saving!:money:

I am in the same boat too, stuck with too much debt to be realistically able to afford a house. Doesn't stop me looking though! Just recently, with more talk about house prices going down, the happier it makes me, because it's another month closer to me owning my own place!:j

Thats true. And i have become a tad obsessed by reading the paper/watching the news too :rotfl:

I found a house yesterday that was really nice, and just up the road from where I am now (and i lived in that road about 6 years ago). £140K which is cheap for this area... so there is hope for me. :j

    Hi

There are loads of reports of varying info, of course no one can look into the future and tell us exactly what will happen, but the general gist is that house prices will start to rise/steady themselves in 2010. They would of lost around 25% of what their value is this year (some accounts are going as high as 50%) etc.

I dont think the housing market will "shoot up" in 2010, it will be a gradual rise, the same as in the 90s. It will take a while for the market to steady itself and then start to pick up.

Well another week... another day stuck in the office. ;) I woudlnt mind but my sister and nephew are going to the beach... nevermind.

Well 1 week 4 days until pay day and I have money left in my account, a fridge and freezer full of food... so i think i may be ok this month. :j

Im writing a letter to british gas about a default that was put on my credit in 2005. I found out on Friday it was for a property that i vacated in September 2004, but the bill was from October 2004-May 2005. Obviously not my bill so i just need to send them a copy of my tenancy agreement and they should remove it which is good news. :j

Feeling very tired and lathargic today, doesnt feel like I have had a weekend at all.

    :hello:

In a much better frame of mind today, even if one of the cats did try and choke himself with a bit of tin foil  - he is ok, just scared himself, and me! And we now have to wait for it to "pass"... shouldnt be hard to spot some bright orange foil (might of been from a choccie biccie :p ).

Anyhoo... the sun is (finally) shining... looks like we might have our summer :j

I booked Thursday off ages ago for my tattoo and decided to book Friday off as well, make it a long weekend. Looks like its a good job I did as its meant to be the hottest day of the year  Might have to go and sit by the prom and feed the swans. :D

I havent done as much debt busting as I would of liked this month, but I am treating myself to the tattoo (for my birthday a couple of weeks ago) and I havent got into any more debt, and for the first time in a long time, I will still be in the black when i get paid. :D

I sent the letter to British Gas yesterday requesting the default be removed from my credit file as it was wrongly put on there, so shall see what they say. I also sent 2 letters to other companies who put a default on my file, begging for it to be removed. I doubt they will as they were within their rights to put it on there, but you dont ask I suppose. :o
