    :hello:

Well its my last day at work for 4 whole days. I am having my new tattoo done tomorrow, and then just doing a bit of spring cleaning and generally chilling for the rest of it.

    :D

Its all budgeted for as well, so shall be very DFW.

I have just done a quick note of who i need to buy for for Christmas, and a rough estimate of how much I will be spending on them. I think i need to get saving. :rotfl: I already have £60 saved, so thats not a bad start I guess. But when i have 2 birthdays to save up for as well (my nephew on 16 December and step mum on Christmas Eve) its a bit of a mission.

Generally feeling very good today, cant wait for payday (next Friday) so that I can put some more money on my credit card and lower my totals.

By my calculations I *could* be under the £7K mark this time next month. Now that would be worth celebrating. :T

    Morning :hello:

Well i had a lovely weekend. I got my new tattoo, and the weather was fantastic so did very little! Im back at work today so not great, and already soooooo hot!

I checked my online banking and my credit card payment has come out. Im annoyed because every other month it has been either 30/31st or 1st of each month. Not 28th. It meant i went £20 overdrawn, so now I have to pay that in today, and fingers crossed I dont get charged. If i do i will be so upset.

Apart from that im feeling good. Only 4 day week this week as well, so roll on Thursday :T

Glad you had a good weekend Amy, I didn't do a lot either, as it was far too hot! Soon we will all be complaining it's too cold though, I'm sure!

I got sick of DD's coming out on incorrect days, so now I pay them all via internet banking. I find now that I have all the Payee's setup, I'm less likely to forget to pay one of them. I get them all paid on payday, then I find I am able to sort out what (little) money I have left!

Thanks Steve, hope you had a good weekend too.

I will ring the bank up tomorrow and have a word. Hopefully they wont charge me. From now on I will just have to make sure I have the money in there "just in case". Bah... just when i thought i was doing ok with my account.

Good news, am probably going to alton towers in september, staying in the hotel and spending 2 days at the actual park. Should cost me around £71 for the 2 days, hotel and breakfast. :j I love 1/2 price vouchers. :D Im soooo excited.

Im also too hot to do any work, no air con here, its a nightmare.

    :hello:

Feeling very annoyed today. My BT direct debit has come out today, when i could of sworn it comes out 1st of every month. I think I may have confused myself  So i have now marked in yellow DDs that come out "early" in the month so that i leave them in my bank.

It now means I will deffo get a charge of £50  But i have just filtered that into my spreadsheet, so will just have to ignore it, and not get anymore from now on.

I really really want to be interest paying debt free by the end of September, but its now looking like October. I will try my hardest to make some extra money, but it will be in the region of £725, whcih i dont think is possible.

Still waiting for my current employer to do a Statement of Earnings for March, so i can send that to the tax office and hopefully get my tax rebate sorted. I think it should be around £150, which will deffo go towards the debt. ;)

Payday is on Thursday, but I really really wish it was today. Im getting bored of waiting, and want to see my debt go down.

    Currently my totals are:

    Loan: £455.42

    Credit Card: £2,353.09

    Mum: £4750.00

Im hoping to get the credit card below £2K this month. The Loan should go to £228 roughly. I would also like to get below £7K this month, which should be possible if i get below £2K on the credit card.

    We shall see.

    :hello:

Well after a month of being a bit spend happy (not a lot but enough!) I am taking the bull by the horns:
    • I am starting my spending diary again (i found this a great demotivator)
    • I am going to try and do at least 9 no spend days.
    • I will make my own lunches
Thats pretty much it, but basically im going to give myself £10 a week to spend on whatever I want (sweets/mags etc.) and £20 a week for food. Im hoping i wont need anymore, but if i do i will work it into next months budget.

I am ordering a mountain of cat biscuits this month which will cost £30, but will hopefully last me a couple of months. This will save around £20 a month for their food.

I have put 2 items on ebay, and if they both sell i should get £20, which could be seen as extra spending money.

Anyway, enough of my rambling. Payday tomorrow, so it starts then. :o

    hello!

yeah my savings have gone up a fair bit. as were only paying 650 rent, weve been able to put a grand in saving every month for the last few, thanks to mr dymond getting a new job. but last week, work put my money up by 4% working out as 750 extra a year, but they also gave me 500 pounds as a summer bonus! so i managed (with my halo on!) to put 1,500 into savings this month! but this is only because im so scared of blowing it all now and then being absolutley skint with nothing in october, because of the wedding and moving in september.. and then theres christmas 6 weeks or so after that! being skint ( in the current account) now, is easier than having no money in any account at the end of the year!!!

so, pay day for you today! hope it brings your debts down! x
