Well after having a bit of a downer this afternoon, i have decided I need to allow myself more money on a weekly basis.

This is for food for myself, and food/litter for the cats. I have been doing this collectively and its leaving me short a lot and meaning i feel so down about not having what i sort of need.

It will mean around £40 a month less to pay off my debts, but it will be better in the long run :T It may be less if i can figure out a different food to give my cats (they have delicate tums so will be speaking to vet and breeders i know).

Hi Amy how you doing. I've not posted on your thread for a while but I have been reading it. Look at the amount you've paid off so far this year it's an amazing amount and you should be really pleased with yourself.

It's only natural that your going to feel down, debtbusting is awful, when you pay something off your on a high but then a week later you hit rock bottom again.

You keep going girl because your doing fantastically and you will get there.

    Thanks GR

Well i have spoken to a breeder i know about my cats food and she agrees with me that they may need more of a variety, so i am going to try them on a particular cat food that is as natural as possible and also some biscuits that are good for sensitive tummies that my sister can get cheaper as she is a registered breeder. All in all it may be a bit expensive at first (the biscuits are £40  ) but they should last me months and months. :T I feel better about this now, and will have a chat with the vets on Monday as well to see what he/she thinks.

Anyway, that means that if i get all of those things for them that my budget for extra payments on the credit card is going to be a lot less this month, but i need to think that i have made over £300 extra this month, so it wont be like im missing a months extra payments, just wont be as much as first hoped.

Wohoo its Friday, and im looking forward to 5.30 as its a 4 day weekend for me. :j

Hi Amy, do your cats have dried or wet food?

I bought my cat a big 10kg bag of Royal Canin food, specifically for his Maine Coon breed, which admittedly was getting on for £40, but it has lasted him about a year. :) He absolutely adores the stuff.

I just buy him a pouch of wet food every couple of weeks, and he gets a few leftover bits from our meals to give him a bit of variety.

Our vets has literally loads of sample packets, and all I need to do is enquire and she usually gives me about a weeks worth of food, all for free. I'm sure other vets get given all these sample packets by the manufacturers......

Thanks. They have chicken... as in real chicken. I know thats why its so expensive but Dylan (the silver one) had an illness when i got him which caused him to have bad tummy problems so was told to put him on chicken. I know they arent getting all the stuff they need (vitamins etc.) so thats why im worried. They are only a year old so i thought it best to try and get them to eat "properly" now (yes i know i sound like a mum with kids :rotfl: ).

Funnily enough my sister is going to check out prices for the Royal Canin biscuits for me (she is a member and can get huge discounts!). Its the one called 33 or something (for sensitive tums!).

Will see if the vet can give me some samples. :D

    :hello:

Well it was my birthday yesterday, and i got myself a bit down over the weekend due to a few things. Mainly because what i had planned to do people let me down about, so it meant i had Monday & Tuesday off with nothing to do.

Anyway, it was an ok day, i wouldnt want to repeat it though :rotfl:

I am treating myself to a tattoo in 2 weeks time (booked it yesterday). Its going to cost me £280 but i feel like i want to mark this time in my life with something positive and i feel i need to "treat" myself really, as for the past 6 months i have done nothing for me (other than pay off debts etc. but you know what i mean).

Im also a bit down because im not where i thought i would be at 25. I know 25 is young still, but i had a different vision of where i would be and what i would be doing with my life. I know i will get there, just so annoyed at myself for not doing it sooner.

Now that I have that out of my system... :rotfl: Roll on payday :D

    Happy Birthday for yesterday Amy!

I was 26 a few weeks ago and feel exactly the same, but it will get better and we will get where we want to be... I just need to work out where that is!

What kind of tat are you getting?
