Today has gone quite quickly for a Thursday. :p

Im still checking my online banking every hour or so, trying to see if anything has gone in/out, but more importantly to try and win £1K from HSBC :rotfl:

After doing my spreadsheets yesterday I am still trying to figure out ways to make extra payments. :D

Unfortunately I wont be going to Chessinton this month for my birthday, but on the bright side thats £50 saved. I am going to treat myself to some home spa treatments and have a "Me Day". :o

Looking likely that I might just be under my £600 target for July, but you never know what a month could bring.

    :j Its Friday :j

Im sooooooo happy. I was so tired this morning when i got up, i barely heard my alarm, im ready for my Saturday morning lie-in tomorrow. :D

I got a 2nd letter from a DCA re a Full & Final settlement offer i sent (it was the 2nd letter i sent reitterating the 30%). Anyway, they completly didnt read my letter/just sent me a template one out because it said that the payment i was offering was not acceptable as it would take too long to clear the debt! Huh?? :o So i have just typed a letter saying that im confused etc. You never know they may try and get rid of me by agreeing to a low amount. :rotfl:

I havent been paid today (im due to be paid on Monday but wasnt sure if it would be last Friday or something... i can dream!), and weirdly my rent hasnt come out (it came out on 26th last month... ). If it doesnt come out on Monday i will have to call them. The one month i have myself sorted and have the money in there waiting and they dont take it.

Im getting a tad carried away with the whole house thing. I am writing a list of "extras" taht I will "need" when i move. I will have over and above enough savings for them but im doing a list now and checking prices now (God knows what good they wil be in 2010 :rotfl: ) but still, it makes me feel useful. :D

Seems like a quite day in the office today, just hope the day flies past.

HOpe you all have good ones.

    :hello:

Had a nice quiet weekend. Saturday went to my nephews school fete. Spent about £1.50 on little games for him, and possibly an ice cream :D

Saturday night i had agro with my neighbours  Cant wait to move. :o

Sunday i spent all day in doors with my cats, playing and watching DVDs. We played for about 2 hours and they crashed on the sofa whilst i watched Heroes. :D It was a great sunday, but now i really miss them :rotfl:

I got paid today. :j I have paid extra onto my credit card as well. We shall see how much i end up paying off this month, but so far its looking good.

I have my upgrade phone ending today on ebay. It has 10 minutes to go with 33 watchers at... £240  Will update when it ends.

  • Well done amy, thats great for the new phone.

Please be careful though, if they are paying by paypal then make sure it is a confirmed address, if not refuse to send it till they confirm there address, or tell them you will only accept cheque/bank payment/cash by special delivery.

If you send it to an unconfirmed address when you receive a paypal payment and they then say it is a fraudulant transaction it gets pulled from your paypal account and then you are minus the phone and the money.

If it is a confirmed address then you have the paypal protection. It has happended to me before and i argued with them and gave up in the end as there terms are rather vague
