    Good morning!

Just popped in for a quick catchup. Haven't looked in for a couple of days, been busy doing *other* things. I went to the gym this morning, so just polishing up my halo:D I'm out again in another half hour or so, and won't be back until much later. Shame, as I won't have time for any housework:rotfl: :rotfl: Goodness only knows what we're eating tonight, I suppose I should poke my nose in the freezer before I go out. If I'm clever, I could leave DH with instructions on prepping it;)

PenPen and Gingham, enjoy your visit together:D

((((hugs))) to the poorly, worried or unhappy.

Might have a 5 minute whizz through yesterday's thread. Oh good luck with your laundry, people, we've had 3 downpours this morning already. Mine is definitely * playing indoors* today:rotfl:

    I've been Money Tipped!
    :hello: Hello!

Just back from the cash and carry and got 5 pkts butter for only 35p each! 4 are in the freezer and I shall be baking this afternoon. Other than that I picked up the usual easy cook rice (6kg for £5.70)as we love rice based meals like kedgaree, nasi goreng etc (might have to change to spuds though if rice goes up) large block of mature cheddar for £5 which I will grate and freeze into managable portions and some large tins tomatoes for bulk cooking pizza sauce. I nearly went awol in the baking section!:rotfl:I really need some more shelves in the larder!

I am still nursing a sore finger from Sunday when I cut it with a piece of metal. I got a tetanus yesterday, which means my arm is sore as well. At least I won't get some horrible disease.

Me too! I did a fair bit of gardening and then came in for a cuppa and noticed I was injured! not sure on what but phoned drs to check when I had last had a tetanus shot and they had no record for the last 25 odd years so yesterday I had a punctured arm as well, also covered me for polio and dipheria for life! So worth the sore arm! Better safe than sorry! I will wear decent gardening gloves and long sleeves from now on!

((((hugs))))) for Smoky, PP, Ivyleafs Gs and little Gd and Jannyannie

Happy birthday wishes to Moggins and also to Mr Aussielass for yesterday!

The rotten weather is keeping me in and away from the garden so the ironing pile is beckoning! Puppy hasn't been walked yet so she isn't too happy, have bribed her with a bonio for now until it stops!;)

    Morning all,

Happy birthday Moggins, hope that all is well with you.

Hugs to Smoky, PenPin and anyone else in need or want.

Managed this morning to get some of the wool in living room tidied away, there is now only the stuff that I am working on...haven't done any knitting for days, perhaps later to-day.

Think that we will have either shepherds pie or spaghetti bolognese for dinner, have mince cooked in freezer, so not a big deal to do either later...meeting a friend for coffee later so dinner will be later than usual here.

Pleasantly sunny but cool here, 2 machine loads to go on line when OH gets round to it...no ironing as iron seems to have turned its toes up and haven't got round to getting another yet.

    Have a good day all,

    Good Morning all,

Oh dear i am late getting here today.

Had to go to doctors about my back today, thought they had forgotten about me as i had waited for 20 mins, anyway have to go to physio still next week so hopefully that will sort it out.

Have been trawling through the traybakes for something for tonights dessert, OH always asks "whats for pudding?" so tonight i shall make a gooey chocolatey traybake for him.

Got some knitting to finish off so better get my skates on today.

    Hugs to all in need.
