Morning all
It was pouring with rain and very black 10 mins ago but its brightening up now but its still raining. That means it will look like a chinese laundry upstairs today!! Housework today as am at work for the rest of the week. Catch up with the ironing later too.
Not a lot going on here at the mo apart from a couple of footie matches to look forward to this week - getting exciting now!!!
If I get time I will make some of Twink's hobnobs this afternoon as there are no more hidden in the freezer now so will have to replenish the stock!!
Martin you mentioning Blandford brought back memories, had friends who lived nearby, lovely part of the country. BTW go on go for the frillies, I dare you
Have a good day everyone0 -
Morning all!
Just reminding dd3 to get her socks and shoes on! Bright here at the mo, and hayfever going strong, so hopefully will be lovely. Will be able to get out and get the rest of the seeds planted today, noticed that labels are all missing from the pots though - hope I can recognise what's what, I'm a bit new at all this veg growing, so anything could happen!
Feeling slightly tired - w**ked last night, so will be having a little nap later! Need to get dinner made first, will be pasties I think, depending on what I can find to put into them! Also need some more hobnobs, I was silly and left them out on the worktop, kids seem to have had a good munch whilst I was out of the house!
Have a lovely day one and all xGC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -

Lovely sunshine here today, how long will it last for?

Mum had a nice time in Florida, she's glad to be home tho, after 2 weeks of my brother "doing her head in".
Back to work today!
Must phone the council up regards my rent. Despite having a rent free week, they've charged me for it.
Anyway, best be off
Have a great day, Love Emma xxxHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure0 -
Morning everyone!
Hope all are well and hugs to those that need them.
Got another busy day here. Off to see some friends at Lotherton Hall this morning. Hopefully the weather will stay nice and we can have a bit of a walk with the babies. Then we are going to nursery later for the ds settling in session. I get to stay for this one, but then he starts properly next week. He has another 2 settling in sessions this week, so hopefully by the end of them i wont need to be forcibly ejected from the nursery!
Not much OS going on today. Shopping is being delivered tomorrow so going to be making some of Twinks hobnobs as my H is having withdrawal symptoms i think!
Have a good day everyone x0 -

Morning all,
When I got up this morning the sun was splitting the trees but now the clouds are moving in so I'm wary of hanging my washing out as I need to head out to do a little top-up shop. So, it's on the airer.
No set plans for today but would like to get some de-cluttering done in my room, some baking and some batch cooking. Need to sort out my bank accounts too as my bills account takes a big hit on 1st so need to make sure there are enough funds in it.
DD was in a foul mood this morning - I'm guessing that's because she refused to go to bed on time last night (I didn't just give in to her btw - let's just say words were exchanged) and is now very tired. There will *NOT* be a repeat of that tonight.
No idea what I will be cooking for dinner tonight so must go and raid the freezer.
Happy Birthday to Moggins!
Pen-Pin so sorry that the news wasn't better for you yesterday. ((hugs))
Pen-Pen and Gingham enjoy your day!
celyn hope everything is ok with you hun. ((hugs))
Have a tremendous Tuesday. xx"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Morning all, it's clouding over here now, was nice and sunny earlier. Luckily I changed our bed and did all the washing yesterday so now all I've got to do is the ironing
Had a wonderful walk down by the canal yesterday morning, loads of little ducklings have hatched since last week and were scudding along on the water, they were so cute. One poor mummy duck has TWELVE ducklings, they were so sweet all paddling frantically to keep up with her. Unfortunately I don't suppose many of them will survive
Met up with old schoolfriends on Sunday which was great, I hadn't seen one of them for 29 years!! She seemed just the same though, we all had a good giggle. I'm the only stay-at-home amongst them though and to be honest they made me feel so guiltyI can't seem to explain to them that I enjoy it and prefer making a home to slogging it out in an office.
Today it's cleaning day yet again and then I'm meeting up with a poorly friend for lunch. I also have to make my meal plan for the week and tonight's dinner is chicken in a mushroom sauce with either rice or mashed potato, haven't decided yet.
Have a great day everyone. Hugs to those in need and happy birthday Moggins if you're reading this- I hope everything is on the upturn for you.

Morning :hello:
Martyn, I know you've been spending an inordinate amount of time in the company of the online girls' club that is Old Style, however a man can take these things too far, you knowDefinitely the boxers
PenPen & Gingham - hope you have a lovely meet-up
Happy birthday moggins if you're lurking
redruby, I emailed you some translations last night - hope you got it, I can't check my personal mail at work so I don't know if you've replied.
((((hugs)))) to smokybabe, Penny-Pincher!! and all others in need.
The Book People are having a stall in my office later on today - I have promised myself the James Martin Collection (their price £7, RRP £20).
My PruHealth points balance has gone up to 1500 today, which tips me from "Silver" into "Gold" - I'm well on course for "Platinum" (2000 points) by the end of my policy year, which should reduce the monthly cost of my health insurance to under a tenner from October :j I will still have to pay £25 p/m for the gym membership itself (as it's a premium Central London gym it's not free like some of the others on the PruHealth deal!) so hopefully no more than £35 p/m in total for next year's membership which is brilliant considering the quality of the club :T It is effectively paying a fee equivalent to a council leisure centre membership for the use of one of London's premium private gyms.
I'm off to an AquaCircuit class at lunchtime, which will up my points by another 10and if the weather is fine for the rest of the week, I might see if I can get some points on my Fitbug (pedometer) too, by walking to and from work. My bus route's likely to be up the creek for the rest of the week due to a fairly spectacular burst water main near where I work, so I'm having to walk part of the way anyway. (Edited to say - I just realised how that sounded - "bus route up the creek" :rotfl: visions of bus floating down Tooley Street - LOL!)
This evening - once I've found a suitable birthday card for my little sister who is 27 on Thursday - I will be writing a review, and cleaning the kitchen. Am going to try another sort of loaf in my BM tonight - possibly honey and sunflower seed  I don't need to cook as there's loads of "ready to reheat" stuff in the freezer. No other plans.
Wish the weather would perk up a bit.
Love Rzl xx :wave:Operation Get in Shape
