Or you could try being an Avon representative if there's not one in your area, and meet your neighbours while you earn a few pennies.

Ding ding! I'm an Avon rep; don't exactly earn much from it, but it pays for my own Avon purchases, so I can treat myself to the odd lippy without feeling guilty.

It's not that lucrative round my way (Newbury) - bit too posh, I reckon. Some people have handed the brochure back to me like it's something nasty the dog did.
Scottish people are pretty loyal customers - they know the importance of value for money, I reckon (I can say that, I'm half Scottish!) :D

Another good survey site I'd forgotten about is https://www.quickwise.com (or co.uk) - just got £1 from them for answering 1 question! And if you're a new member they give you a £3 head start and you only have to earn £7 before you can cash it in!

Why do they want a mobile number, do you know?

They send you a text when there is a survey online for you to complete. Also it is your login code.

  • I have made alot of money (over £100 in a short time) by selling jewellery on ebay. I found myself unemployed a few months ago and decided I could make jewellery our of random things. It sells very well to students, and have sold all on ebay across the world. Something which cost about 15p to make out of old toys sold for over a tenner! I guess it is just because it isn't something you can get anywhere else! Anyway, its enjoyable and makes money... wahoo!

Or you could try Oriflame - I used to do that, and sometimes people said it was "too expensive" - Avon customers, no doubt - nice range of products, good quality, never tested on animals, and it used to be about 30% commission - I never made megabucks with it, but I had stacks of makeup and skincare that I effectively didn't pay for.

I like doing surveys too and they can pay well, but are a bit sporadic.
One weekend a couple of weeks ago I made £30+ in anhour but since then prob only made a fiver!
My fave site is valuedopinions.co.uk and nfocc.com (got a product test from them recently too). yougov.co.uk and mutualpoints are ok too, but taking me ages to reach the minimum redemption. also ciao not bad.

Westernpromise - Thanks for listing pureprofile, had forgotten about that one. Just looked and I never finished registering!!! Are they any good?

Does anyone else know of any others please?

I also use Ciao, Valued Opinions and NFOCC (got a £4 voucher from them this morning, can't even remember the survey!)

I also use Gozing who send out lots (usually low paid but quite quick) surveys, and also Media Transfer, who pay in "MT's" - which build into vouchers.

I use others too, but can't remember them now - I just follow the link!

Anyone got any experience with www.expresspaidsurveys.com ?

Would be useful to hear from somebody who has signed up with them

    Don't do it!!!

I've not had experience of these, but I wouldn't pay into it personally -

Do a search using google, you'll find several free sites with links to other survey sites, get registerd with a few - I'm registered with several, and whilst its not going to make me rich, I probably get about half of my broadband costs back - which I would still be paying anyway.

I think the below site gives a list of a few:

Just out of interest - what type of business do you run. I would love to start something up but dont know where to start. Ive looked at buying bouncy castles/climbing walls to go round shows - but need to see how easy it is to get a spot. At the moment Im selling on ebay but that is making much and Im relying on finding a bargain in the shops. My full time work is not that well paid so if I was to give it up dont think I would have much trouble finding another equally low paid job.

    Any ideas. Thank you.

    Hi!
Perhaps this is a very daft question!! When you do all these online surveys do you end up on lots of mailing lists with loads of junk mail??
If not I shall be brave and go for it!
