- I ebay a lot, I try and stick to the 'one in, one out' rule, meaning if I buy a top I try and sell one. I ebayed full time last summer and made about £300 a month. When you get really good you can buy to sell, for example, I went into a high street store and saw a huge load of £2 bras on buy one get one free. I bought 30 of them and sold them for £2.99 each! Also, if you are totally confident in the field in whivh you are selling, you can buy wholesale off the net and sell on. Please only do this if you are entirely confident. My tip - if you are going to this, become a specialist in one area e.g. clothes so you are 100% focussed on what you are doing.
It's worth remembering that if you start buying items in bulk to sell on you may be liable to pay tax on your earnings and ebay may regard you as a business seller rather than someone just having a clear out at home.April £5 a day challenge- £15.05/£1500 -
Don't you get loadsa junk mail and phone calls after taking all these surveys ? THats the main reason i try to avoid surveys - Do most surveys require your name, address, phone number etc ?
How much can you relistically make per week/month ?
I've been doing surveys for several years and haven't received any extra junk mail, phone calls etc. All reputable companies are purely researchers not sales companies and have codes of conduct. If in doubt check whether they are members of MRS (UK companies only)
Try http://www.whichsurveys.com for a good list of survey companies. They've got about 5 pages of UK companies alone and make it clear which ones pay cash and which pay in vouchers.
The survey companies will want your name/address etc. as they need to know where you are 1. to pay you and 2. to be able to put your answers into context based on location (eg If you're based in Glasgow your opinions on London will be different to the opinion of Londoners) . Generally the only time you need to give a phone number is if you offer a mobile number for SMS surveys. All this information is only given when you register with a company - never on the individual surveys.
How much you can earn depends on how much time/effort you want to spend, whether you can take part in focus groups, phone interviews or just short online questionnaires. Online surveys usually pay between 50p and £4 but can be longer. Online group discussions are usually around £10 an hour and last 1-2 hours but if you attend focus groups in person these can easily be £50-£100 a time.
I personally earn around £50-£100 a month but do it on a very casual basis and only online. The sites that work best for me are GlobalTestMarket, Pinecone, Valued Opinions, ACOP, ItsYourView, IPSOS, Test&Vote, Lightspeed and TNS.0 -

Hi all
I was wondering whether anyone had used https://www.nethomeworkers.co.uk or not they are asking for 25 quid up front but looks like order processing ????
Any advice much appreciated0 -
I'd stay away from any company that demands money up front - you're trying to earn, not spend.0

no i dont receive any junk mail or phone calls from the survey sites that i listed, in fact i purposely avoided adding any that do! so i hope that allays any fears you have.
I dont really like to guess how much someone could earn as its down to you and also your personal demographics such as age, job, area you live in, etc. But realistically if you check your emails every day and do all the surveys sent to you, you should be able to earn between £500-1000 a year in cash and gift vouchers but it really depends on you. If you only tend to check emails once or twice a week or if you cant be bothered to complete them, then obviously you wont earn as much, but the trick is definitely the more you join the more you earn! you will also be offered product testing opportunities and if eligible will then go on to receive free products to test which will save you a few bob on your shopping too! You may also be lucky enough to receive some focus group opportunities too where you can earn betwen £30-75 for one session, so that would certainly bump up your money too!0 -

Be wary of anyone that asks you for money! My advice would be to avoid it like the plague! lol0 -
