Here are the things I have done this month to get that wee bit extra:
- I counted up the change jar and banked £45
- I agreed to cross stitch two samplers for new babies at £30 each = £60
- I opened an A&L account and convinced a friend to do the same, hopefully should net £50
- - and most exciting of all - today I got a call back from a mystery shoping company and I am doing 3 mystery shops this week. Never done one before and am very excited!
They said I can spend the money on clothes and then return them and keep the cash so I shouldnet arounf £60 for those.
Total £215 - not bad at all! It all seemed like tiny amounts but add it up and its quite healthy. It will be going in our holiday fund for next year. I am well chuffed
I've also registered with pigsback, ipoints and greasypalm. And Ciao and ValuedOpinions and Lightspeed so they are totting up nicely, a few quid on each one. Better than a kick in the teeth.Jan GC: £202.65/£450 (as of 4-1-12)

Unless you were paid £220 for it, plus dental costs.0 -
I am a cook and my plan is to ask the boss if I can bake things like caramel slices and brownies in the afternoon when it is quiet, the ovens will be on anyway and I will clock out so I am not doing it on their time. Hopefully I can buy ingredients thru them (wholesale price) Then on my days off I will go to craft fayres and markets...who can resist a cake whilst walking around?
Also I don't have to worry about health and safety as we hold a silver award.Proud member of the £2 club, joined 17th October

Just seen that AQA is a text answer service, not the exam board I thought it was. Dunzo!0 -

Hi,
Does anyone know where I can get information on what work I would need to declare? There are loads of ideas here, and I'm guessing things liked matched betting and survey sites you don't, but other things like mystery shopping and party planning etc I'm a bit confused about.
I know a few people will take the risk of not bothering, but I'm usually the one who gets found out, so I'd prefer to do it by the book. I just don't know what is and isn't allowed.
I'm not claiming any benefits, or working if this makes any difference.
Thanks,
K0
