Hi,
I'm new to this site and have only just registered so it may well be that i am in the wrong 'thread', so if i am can someone please redirect me the right one...I am a student in a lot of debt and have been sent pyramid scheme letters where I have been instructed to send off money, with the promise of recieving the money back and furthermore duplicating it 100's of times over...i.e I send of £10 and in six weeks time, I have been assured I will recieve at least £50000 back. As dubious as it sounds I am desperate for money so I was wondering if anyone has ever been stung by these get rich quick schemes before or if they are a good idea?
I would appreciate any information on this...
Many thanks0 -
They are DEFINITELY NOT a good idea - they exploit people's needs and encourage them to part with money they can ill afford.
Only the ones at the top of the pyramid MAY get something back - the math is sound BUT the reality is c**p.
Steer clear of them - bin any you currently have and find a more sensible way of improving your position.
Good Luck

Thanks for your help Grumpyoldgit,
I guess its pretty obvious that these schemes sounds too good to be true...I dont suppose you would know who I could go about contacting who has actually experienced losing out to these apparently "guaranteed" quick fixes to getting rich...It's just that I'm very interested in trying to expose the people who con you out of your hard earned cash, and as a student I believe this could be a very intersting article in our student direct newspaper.
Thanks alot0 -
I may be able to help you make a bit of money on the side or more if you are serious about it. I have been selling ebooks for years now on ebay and I make a tidy weekly income from it. I quit my job a year ago and have never looked back. I have set up a site to help others do the same and follow my example. Here is a link for you if you are serious about making money by selling ebooks. I hope you find this useful.

my son has found a good way to pay off his student debts and he is doing very well with this.

he simply reccomends this to fellow students, they get their own domain name and also great potential for earning money too which helps their cash flow too.
good luck
