18 I think actually. But I'm not sure what the law is only buying it for children. Not sure if BBFC's juristiction is merely the selling to underage but not over parents' decision to give it to their children.

As far as I know, it's not a binding limit, just a good advisory for parents.

First off, I have the game for the PS3 and love it. BUT I wouldn't let my son play it and nor would I play it when he's in the room. Before getting it for a child, I'd consider the subject of the game and whether you want them to play it.

Anyhow, you're choice.

Surely its up to the parent to decide if theyre son plays an 18 rated game but then we dont know how old the son is

Actually my son is 17 and I ordered it for him as I had a Amazon voucher and said he could use it towards the game. I feel he is old enough for the game as he is a sensible and mature person.

i am 33, i dont like these sort of games, so have not got it, hence why i did not know what age restriction was on the game, but have heard things about it which made me think it must have been at least a 15 certificate.

i did not mention the age thing as a stick to beat febuarycat with, only merely pointing out why i thought nej, had asked febuarycat how old his son was.

if it is pegi recomended certificate then it is just to help parents. if it is an official bbfc certificate 18 then it is as legal as is an 18 certificate for a film.
