amazon always take longer than play.com when it comes to free delivery. its just to annoy people into paying for the quicker service.

how long before the release date did you order it though? its not unheard of for a retailer to post and or process an item before its release date. i remember preordering a cd from play.com and it arrived on the friday before the monday it was released. i'm not meaning to be negative, just realistic. everything i have ordered from amazon on free delivery has taken between 5 to 7 days.

360's are going quite cheap these days too. And plenty of decent games.

- Assassins Creed

etc... I know some of those are on PS3, but with the 360 you've got easily around 10 top quality games straight away.

I think R6 Vegas 2 and Halo 3 are my two favourites. Gears of War and Oblivion were amazing too. Oh, and I forgot Bioshock.

Metal Gear Solid 4 is out on 12th June and I got resident evil extintion on blu-ray for £13.00 I like to shop around...:Dalso I had to pay £55 for the 360 dongle which I didn't have to with the PS3...

Well I finally got it... on Sunday morning I went to HMV, Zavvi, WH Smiths, Game and Woolworths... no joy. I then went into Gamestation with no hope at all - and they had it!

I got my 360 with GTA iv for £199 from woolworths. I managed to get it from a slightly suburban town woolworths, but all the major stores in london and south london seemed to be sold out. Pretty good deal though.

The best deal I've seen thus far though is argos. 360, GTA and Halo 3 for £208, though twas sold out big time, everwhere pretty much. good luck!

Play.com have both the PS3 and 360 version in now, theres also a 5% voucher floating about, which brings it down to £37.99 and then you've got quidco too.

Just ordered mine its just a kick in the pants that im working for the next 7 days.
