if you do decide to get another console I would head for the PS3 more cost effective...it's got WI-FI so no need to buy an extra dongle like with the 360 it's BLU-RAY so no need to buy a HD DVD player to go with the 360 that'll save you around £100 as when you get the 360 it doesn't tell you that if you want to watch a HD movies you have to buy an add on costing anything from £40-100 pounds or that it's hasn't got wi-fi so if you want it in another room from your router it'll cost you £55-60 pounds for a wireless dongle...enough said:D
there are not any decent games out for the ps3 at the mo
blu ray dvds cost a fortune
so the best console out now is the 360.
and im not a 360 fan boy cos my ps2 is still my favorite console. No Unapproved or Personal links in signatures please - FT30 -

Hmmm I guess it depends upon your needs.
I've got cable so the 360 is right next to the modem. No need for wireless.
And I've got a surround system with DVD upscaling which is fine. I'm not into paying £15-20 for a HD movie. So a 360 is much more suitable.
360's are going quite cheap these days too. And plenty of decent games.
- Halo 3
- Gears Of War
- R6 Vegas 1/2
- Ghost Recon 1/2
- Forza Motor Sport
- Elder Scrolls Oblivion
- Assassins Creed
etc... I know some of those are on PS3, but with the 360 you've got easily around 10 top quality games straight away.
I think R6 Vegas 2 and Halo 3 are my two favourites. Gears of War and Oblivion were amazing too. Oh, and I forgot Bioshock."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0
