I ordered 2 from HMV on 2nd april 08 1) was for my son he wanted the special edition priced at £59.99 which got him a music cd/ holdall/ safe deposite box/ the game/ and £130 worth of vouchers...+ £2.99 cashback with quidco
his mate wanted the £39.99 one which got him the game/ +1000 points /+ £130 worth of vouchers...+ £1.99 cashback with quidco...
both have a free month of gold membership...
both arrived at 9am this morning via free delivery which was infact special delivery at no extra charge so required a signature...
but all in all they are great or so they say they are...
and the important thing is they got them on the day...
although my DS put in a holiday so he could have the day off...
his mate arrived at 5.30pm from work and went home immediately to play it....lol...:rotfl:

My OH pre-ordered ours about a month and a half ago and he went to pick it up this afternoon from Game....it's SWEET!!!!!

A guy who I work with was outside the Game shop at 6pm last night, there were 20 people in the queue in front of him (god knows how many were behind him when the shop opened!), he picked up his copy and he was up playing on it until half 5 when he came to work

Don't know if it made any difference but it was part of a £1000 order which included a 40" LCD and Stand, i had to complain that the tv took a week to arrive then the price went down so i got the delivery fee refunded and now the difference between the price I paid for the tv and the price they are charging now. I think i've caused them some hassle already so not too keen for my order number to be used in a 3rd complaint !

I will let you know when / if the game turns up though...

Kids are in bed now and I'm quite happily playing away. It's amazing, similar feeling to the first time I played GTA3 but so much better!

Bought one of the woolworths bundles this morning (£159.99 for arcade console 360 with free GTA IV) - the guy at the counter said they had loads of copies of the games and couldn't understand why people were queueing elsewhere

because most people pre-ordered...but I don't know why people are queueing either...check online to see if you can get one then go get it...simple...or are these people that have not converted to mse yet...;)

i noticed you could get a 360 pro console with it for £205 at my local hmv today. personally the game doesnt appeal to me.

Son pre ordered from Amazon but no game yet, he's in a right mood as some of his mates have got the game, hopefully it will arrive soon.

Walked into a tiny branch of Currys on St Albans high street about 3 pm yesterday afternoon, got their last PS3 copy for 39.99, they still had 6 copied for XBox 360 left.
