Thanks soappie, i hate the dentist *runs away looking pain killers holding mouth*.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Hello everyone

I was just going to run in and out again to see if anyone noticed but I think I'll stay a while.

Havent been on for a couple of weeks (so no way I'll be able to catch up on the gossip) and certainly done no flying. Have managed to catch a couple of days worth of posts.

Big hello to all the new peeps who've joined while I lapsed.

Soappie, you're doing fantastic well done on the grand grand and good luck for tomorrow

Taffy, I've been like you for the last couple of weeks, works boring, home is hard work, things happen and I feel depressed - perhaps its normal for Norfolk :rotfl:

Pigpen, I'm yawning with you as was up at 315 as our french student had to be at the coach station by 4am and couldnt sleep when I went back to bed. Good thing is by having him here its another £143 in the bank towards DD and my trip to Eurodisney in August

bargainbird, hope you have a better week, I had the hairdryer thing 2 weeks ago and a new one never quite feels the same, still trying to get used to mine

Pink Fairy, you are lucky to get as close to an apology as you have, the thought of an apology isnt even in my OH's dictionary

Nicki, I hope you have a great weekend, I wouldnt know what to do woth time on my hands

Raphael, You've had all your bad luck now but please dont pass it around if you find any more, just do a 37 fling boogie to get rid. Hope the poor doogie isnt as bad as expected :grouphug:

Johanne, sorry I missed the birth and baby pics. Hope you manage to get over the probs real soon and can enjoy quality time with baby Sarah

Big hugs to vanilla, you have a lot to cope with and I wish I could help in some way

Tia, I did better than you for tea, DD made herself a sandwich (had hot lunch today - phew) and I managed a bowl of Frosties

Michelle, see you're still hanging in there and glad to see that theres no huge lists (well over the last couple of days anyway)

Mudbath, Hope your wrist is back to full strenght soon

So what have I been up to - - apart from having French boy wonder here for 10 days, I couldnt tell you. Have been trying to get into bed at a reasonable time as feeling mega tired working 6 days a week (well 5 1/2 really) and dont want a repeat of last years severe anaemia. DD and I have a few ups and downs but normal ones I think, DS is still being a good lad but has found himself a girlfriend so will have to keep a close eye now :o and OH, well he's working as much as ever, and well the rest is a long story which I'm not sure whether it has a happy ending or not so will just shut up for now.

    So plans for the weekend
DS is away until Sunday night
OH is on nights so will be sleeping during the day
DD and I are NOT going shopping as I have a new budget and its working (taking the cash out and dividing into different purses) so a trip to LUSH is DEFINITELY NOT ON even tho I need some more Big shampoo
Meal planning for the next month is a definate as it worked well ast month
Update on freezer and cupboard contents prior to meal plan
Shopping for what is NEEDED not what I think is needed
and a whizz through the whole house so that I can start next weeks list without everything to do.

Gonna go now but hope to see you all again tomorrow
    Kaz x
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

Mmmm think ds might have bust his ankle but he can hop and I think if it was seriously bust it would hurt. It is very swollen. Will check it in the morning.

I've packed everything up for dh to take to charity shop. Our bedroom is quite bit without all the junk in it.

    Hugs to all, goodnight xx

Vanilla, you and me alike. I am a total baby when it comes to the dentist. I am renowned for my 'rottweiler like professionalism' in certain circles. I have had grown bullies back down from wrongdoings - or attempted wrongdoings - with just a look. I have worked in places where, when new recruits are given the tour of the offices they are told - "there's the loo, there's the coffee machine - oh - that's Soappie - you don't f*ck with her". I have been told to my face that I am 'scarey'. I know there are several council officers who visibly go pale when they are told I'm on the phone.

But, put me in that dentist chair and I am a five year old crying for her Mummy. I am fortunate my recently acquired dentist and his staff are wonderful...and understand..

Just had an interesting conversation with Dil and DS. DiL is not a native of our country although she's been here for 12 years (she's from Middle Eastern parts). DS was trying to persuade her to watch a DVD of Blackadder. She said she didn't understand it at all and didn't find it funny. It turned out in the conversation that she hadn't realised that the various series of Blackadder were set in various periods of English history. So, she is now ensconced with DS in the front room watching the DVD with a totallly different mindset.

Eeeeh, I should have been a marriage councellor - but then maybe not - I think my primary advice would have been "Don't do it!""

I've been waiting to see who becomes mayor but it is dragging on so off to bed now.

Mudbath - hope your DS can walk in the morning
Johanne - you poor love, hope you are feeling more comfy soon. Are you supposed to do salt water baths? My NCT teacher said if you could not get hold of a valley cushion then use a rubber ring (swim one not fully inflated).
Kaz - nice to see you popping in
JillD - hope you are ok
Pink - hope tomorrow you achieve loads

vanilla go you :rotfl: I've lost my head once when DP said he'd look after the boys when I was ill so I could catch up with some rest then they came up to say he was asleep, could have killed him. Careful you don't OD on the painkillers honey as the last thing you want to do is throw them up.
kazzzzzz!!! Welcome home :) I wondered where you had been hiding!
serena I used to hate teachers like you :rotfl: just kidding, must say something if you've been asked to go back :)
Pink Fairy, now that's a shame!! Sugar in his sleeping bag? Makes them itch then when they sweat it goes sticky :D
**Joins the mens things widows club** mine it's RC car clubs, lately he's away every weekend apart from when he's at work on the Sunday (Bank Holidays), then of course the running his club and how much that takes up of the week, more about that later.
soappie, I'll have another looksy, thanks. I have looked before but think I was searching for the wrong things.

Well I started the back garden, got the dry bit done then the rest was too wet, as I was about to give up a FROG!! jumped out of the grass at me landing on the lawnmower. He tried for almost half an hour to get out, we don't know anyone with a pond so I boxed him up, threw the kids in the car and drove it to the nearest ponds :D DS1 named him Fred :rotfl: one happy froglet and 2 happy children as they got to be nice to a frog putting him in a new home. To be honest if I'd left it the dogs would have probably got it.

    **RANT/MOAN ALERT**
Oh the more about that later, DP called with his usual 'Do you mind if I am away next weekend?' my response 'Does it matter if I do?' (see a little sarcasm because he's annoying me, he asks but then he'd throw a huff if I said I did mind and would go anyway) anyway as usual I said 'If you can afford it, then go' somewhere down the line in the conversation he came out with a comment of 'I only go to be away from you' so I said 'that's ok with me' and he seemed a little shocked......his mother is back on Tuesday, I've been expecting him to leave then anyway...so he's 'well do you not want to know what's bothering me so you can change it' and I replied 'no because I am sick of changing me to keep you quiet!'. I think we're going to end up having a rather long chat or a storming row about this, I told him whatever he wants to say he can wait until Tuesday when the boys are at school, not having arguing in front of them. I am sick of being taken for granted, ignored etc by everyone, so not rolling over and playing dead anymore. I'd rather be single and without friends than constantly unhappy. Sorry, noone else to offload onto and it's winding me up. I'd have phoned him back if I haddn't got those thoughts out of my head, which is silly as he probably wants me to phone and scream at him. **RANT/MOAN OVER**

Right then, I'm not letting any of this get me down, I made my hairdressers appointment, meal plan still needs doing.......there is a pile of stuff to put away but I have done 5 hours gardening today aswell as other housework/normal daily stuff and I am shattered, so think it can wait. Boys haven't done much in their rooms but will get them to help over the weekend. My eyes are itchy, I don't think we have any hayfever stuff, bother!
One day I might be more organised...........

My stupid internet has been playing up all day, this is the first time that it is staying connected for longer than 20 seconds, I lost a post this morning

List done today: Nothing, silch, niks, geen fluit,

Was in a bad mood and just made cards and nappy cake/basket.

Hugs for everyone :grouphug: with OH problems, kids problems, undercarriage problems (ouch Johanne), medical problems, in general life problems

Will do my best to catch up mistress Pigpen, will have to persuade teenage DD to bring down all the cups and glasses from her room and if that doesn't work it will be threats and bribery. I am not going in that room and you can't make me

Lil_me (((hugs))) he is being an !!!. You know you would be better off without him, even if it's not as simple as that. We loves you and we think you are wonderful. Even if he is too stupid to appreciate it.

Hugs for Lilme, kaz, and everyone else - age memory thing again! Johanne hope you are on the mend really soon.

Kaz you are probably right about the Norfolk thing!!!! Hope you are feeling better soon. xAnd Lil Me too. Men were put on this earth so women could realise we are supreme!!!! Mine is the same with his motorbike and playing pool. He went offshore monday and is hoping to be home this monday as he has a pool match!!!!!

Today I have done the kitchen to level 2/3 so am very pleased with that. Took DD2 to McD's and Next as promised and she picked some clothes and ate most of her tea - result!!

Tomorrow we have a party for DD1 to go to and DD2 is going to her friends. When we get home will be watching Golden Compass bought it yesterday in MrT's bargin - £8. DD1 really wants to see it. Will do washing and ironing in the morning and the living room.
Sunday we are going to a local wildlife park. One of their favourites and taking nanny and grandad with us. Afternoon will be spent finishing DD1's castle project and her homework - bribery! Clean upstairs too.
Monday will be lazy day, prob watch Golden Compass again if it's good, but we do record Britains Got Talent and normally watch before DH gets up as he thinks anything like this is carp, but us girlies love it.
    Have a good weekend everyone.
Need to sort my life out! :T
