Not got as much time to keep up to date on here now OH is home so from what I can remember:

PrettyPennies - happy birthday, have a lovely day

Dusty - nothing against the tree but like the idea of a seat but I'm no gardener ...

Johanne - ouch, hope you are feeling better soon

Vanilla - dental and OH pains - poor thing, hope the weekend is better

Soappie - well done on the £1k, hope you had a successful day at the auction

Raph - not a good week, hope the vet is able to sort the problem

Mudbath - looks like your making progress with the school already, well done. Is DS ok today?

Lil_me - I think others have said it better than I can but you work so hard and put everyone before yourself, you don't deserve such grief from the one person who should support you more than anyone else and be there for you

I've jotted down a couple of other things but can't read my writing so will take that as a cue to go. Just had a phone call from Dad wanting me to go and help Mum so need to sort a pile of washing to take at same time. First I'll do 30 mins in the garden - did I really say that!?!

    Have a good day
Don't put it down, put it away - thanks Valli

Thank you to all who post competitions & help the smooth running of the comps board

I got a Bunny yesterday!!! Hubby hadnt bought me a birthday present and we went to the centre to get bird food and came away with a bunny:o She is beautiful, cant decide on a name, would you ladies like to help? Am stuck between Albus (as in Dumbledore, it also means white, which she is) , or Novo?? Any suggestions gratefully accepted:D

Ooooh.. lucky you!! I LOVE my bunnies... lots of handling and they are just the cuddliest things ever!!

I've a nail being fixed later which I twanged off picking up stuff from the girly room.

I ended up keeping the spare child overnight.. and now have acquired a second spare child.. not quite sure how this happened but I may be dragging the BBQ out later and pointing hubby at it lol.

Lil_me.. You have to do what is best for you and the boys and however hard that decision might be if it needs to be done you will survive.. and you have lots of friends.. I'm only a couple of hours drive away and you are more than welcome any time you know that!!.. mabe not the dogs too though, my cats might not come home!! lol We all think you are lovely.. true we don't live with you so you might be a right battleaxe :p but I totally doubt that.. you are always to helpful and lovely when we are all in strife and we are offering you that in return.. you know where we are if you need us..

Hubby is sent off to the PO to collect my replacement breadpan for the BM. On his bike with no brakes.. apparently I've 'sent him to die'.. I said I'll look for the insurance papers lol.

I got my tax credit renewal through today so I've sorted that.. took me about 5 minutes to get through in the phone and the guy who answered sounded like he had been there 5 years without a break.. lol.. He said it has been a looooooong week!! We should be getting a lump payment anyway as they had it down hubby was earning about £3000 more than he actually did seeing as in January they put down he had had a 3% pay rise when in fact he got a massive 0.75%... I also put a note on saying if he gets a pay rise in January which is the only time he is likely to get one I'll let them know so they won't need to adjust it stupidly and end up owing me money like they have this year. I've also got to phone at the end of August to make sure they have kept DS1 on the claim as he is up to college.. they said I don't but they aren't the brightest! lol.

now.. where did I leave my list??

:j I got into college! :j well a conditional acceptance on my providing my standard grade results. But I sat a core skills things which said I was ready for the course level, so I sent an email asking if that would be enough as a replacemnet certificate is £30. And I'm tight.

Pigpen, thank you!!!! I forgot all about the tax credits renewal! Will look out what I need and get that done today (((snogs))) your a star.

    Lil_me gets another (((hug)))

    G&B I'm a huge Harry Potter fan, so I vote Albus :T

    Happy Birthday PrettyPennies!!!!

To do today.... as little as possible

    Clean car (it STINKS!)
    Washing (the never ending story)
    Tax Credits
    Start Bursary application
    Finish CT benefit application

Going to get the hoover down as DS1 said he would hoover (for £1, better pay him for the week then...)

((Big hugs back)) for you all, thank you, much less lonely with you guys here. I'm still undecided what to do, giving myself the weekend to think (I barely see him/speak to him on a weekend as he's work/sleep/football/racing so that will give me some space) My sons just asked 'Was he born grumpy?' wonder where he's picked up that comment from :rotfl:

    Tia well done :D

    prettypennies happy birthday :D

Oh erm, anyone not ordered their Wilkos order yet I got an email this morning offering £10 of when you spend £70 code is w24ek9 (case sensitive) when you order this weekend, so think I will be ordering my garden furniture :D
One day I might be more organised...........

    Afternoon ladies.

prettypennies happy birthday wishes to you

soappie well done on hitting 1000, and hope you find some more bargains at the auction today.

vanilla hope the mouth is somewhat improved and less tender soon

johanne gentle hugs to you. I had that problem with DS, and it was agony i remember, although cleared up fairly quickly once i was on antibiotics. The scar still isn't nice though, so hoping it doesn't cause problems this time.

nicki enjoy the night out tonight

mudbath hope DS's foot is ok today

kaz welcome back- biggest things you missed was johanne having the baby, and mudbath snapping her thumb tendon, and the rest of us flying in fits and starts i think

anws mum wave to you, it is very hard keeping up with the thread at the minute, hope you enjoy your night out and it is not too cold.

AS for me, still here, still having regular twinges. Still fed up. We got a takeaway last night as both of us were shattered, and so far today done not a lot. DH let me have a lie in and got up with DS - unfortunately when he is running around on the laminate i find it hard to sleep through, but the thought was there. We have then done the food shop, had a conversation with ILS who were panicking when they couldn't reach us on the house phone. Shopping was mainly quick to cook stuff.

Shopping was put away, DH took DS out to play in the garden for about an hour, then i discovered a load of bibs washed earlier in the week that were still sat wet in the TD in the garage, so they needed rewashing.

Plan for the afternoon/weekend - not a lot really - DH wants to take old doors and carpet to tip as it is taking forever to get it in the bin that is only emptied once a fortnight. We could do with a trip to Dunelm as now the mornings are lighter, we are waking up at silly times as it is too light, so will buy blackout linings for our room. We will miss out on enough sleep without disturbing it even more.

Other than that, the grass in the back garden is desperate for a cut (so that will be DH) and there is a small ironing pile for me to tackle before MIL decides to do it while i am in hospital and wrecks half of our clothes again. .

We are planning a lost -athon tonight providing no other more urgent things come up. ;)

    Michelle, x

lil-me i forgot to say anything to you. I am sorry to hear OH is being a pain. I thought he had turned a bit of a new leaf recently. All you can do is what is best for you. What is meant to be will be, but remember you deserve to be really happy.

Wilkos - my order came yesterday, so we are awash with nappies and pillows here - thanks again ladies.

Cheer for that Lil_me.. I've not spent mine yet..

I think my bread maker has given up the ghost! I have a new breadpan and it is still making a horrible grating noise as the paddle turns.. I'll give MR a call back on Tuesday and see what they say.. in the mean time I may just mix the dough in the BM and bake in the oven.. I have 4 2lb loaf tins so they'll do won't they? I have some sesame seeds too so I may do a seedy loaf too
