Rain stopped play here. Got the washing in. Kitchen/family room looks liek we have been robbed. Going to do a HHC then do tea. DS1 and hubbie still at the golf course.
PrettyPennies well done on your win
Hugs to those with kids/men behaving badly. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
I have finally emerged from my bedroom, no sleeping or hanky panky unfortunately but spent most of the day sorting out my craft deks and all my cardmaking and scrapbooking stuff. 6 carrier bags and cardboard drawers to the dump (did recycle as much as possible) and it is looking a lot more organised now, until I start making stuff again. I feel I have done something at least but still have so much to do:
washing
tea in oven now
unload and reload dishwasher (will put kids to that after tea)
finish nappy cake
wrap basket
tidy and hoover living room ( might have to wait until tomorrow, kids will want to watch all that reality tv tonight)
thanks for reminding me about the tax credit, just shoved the form into a basket under my coffee table, better dig that out later and find the P60's
:rotfl: at the poo smearing stories, luckily mine never did that, does the smell not put them off?Kids? Weird creatures!! My two have been arguing all day, if it continues there will be no reality tv tonight but just the sound of me crafting or tapping on the keyboard of the PC. It just does my head in

Tia, mumoftwo and vanilla big hugs ((hugs)) oh heck, maybe there is something in the water. Mine have been ok ish, although DS2s going through a very moany stage right now but I usually just switch off to it. Feeling for you with the poo thing, DS1 went to the loo earlier and decided to try to clean himself, then I had to clean the wall and loo seat, yuk! I know he's 9 and for a change he's trying to do it (germ/poo phobias plus motor skills issues caused problems) but sometimes I wish he wouldn't :rotfl:
Oh forgot to add, vanilla I think it's shocking how much they charge extra to cross the water, my friend had the same problems with it when she lived out there
prettypennies I think you're right with the pee on the toilet seat, I am sure DP still does it and just blames the kids. well done with the winnings!!!! That'll cover the hairdo and more
Not impressed with Wilkos, to use that code you can't buy anything else on offer (or you loose the discount) decided to order this http://www.wilkinsonplus.com/invt/0208931 because I want a brolly not a gazebo (easier) decided against the swing seat due to the space it'll need and the fact DS2 always manages to tip his Grandma's over so think it'll be a bad idea, then thought I can get these http://www.wilkinsonplus.com/invt/0250311 for comfy seats, but oh no, can't have both the code and the £10 off them. So instead I have ordered the patio set and oodles of loo rolls etc (because you can't even use it with other bogof/money off things) to make it over the £70 then will order the 2 loungers seperate to maximise the discounts. So much hassle in a way but MSE things have taught me to make the most of offers, so will get the money off, they'll just have to put up with doing 2 seperate orders, will get the money off one way or the other, they will not win!!!!
Right :rotfl: stressing about orders now over, dinner been and gone, didn't finish the grass cutting as the weather has turned and was too busy playing with the boys earlier with this headache was the last thing I wanted to do, laundry now in (makes a change getting things dry outside!) DW seems to be working ok now and the only thing I could find in the filter was grass (so either off the kids when taking plates in the garden or DP been washing his cars in there....again) I've put my OU books into a box which has instantly made the place look tidier. Kids need to clear up their junk downstairs, been too nice to make them tidy their rooms today so think I will get them to do some of it this evening, while I put the laundry mountain away. Working on a rough evening/tomorrow list for me, will post it when I've finished it.One day I might be more organised...........

Embb mine just came through the post last week but mines renewal, if you get tax credits already then a form should be sent out.
*Edit* RANT ALERT OH just left to go and get some beer, 4th night this week he's drinking. With the meds he's on and the epilepsy he's only to have an odd drink an odd time. I think i'll just take myself outside and mow the garden because i'll gonna blow. We need to save for the house getting done up and need to find another 2-3000 for the kitchen and extra for the room being built, then decorate the whole place again. As usual i'm on my own to deal with it as his priority is himself.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Happy Birthday prettypennies - well done on your win!

Evening everyone
Happy Birthday prettypennies :bdaycake:
AnW's mum, sending warm weather vibes and good luck for tonight
Dusty, I like the tree
Lilme, massive hugs, must be the time of year for men being absolute pains. I've had a headache for days now which I think is stress so I bought 200 Kalms today :rotfl:
Tia, well done on getting into college
Michelle, thanx for the welcome back, getting excited for you now
Vanilla, hugs for your troubles
Nicki, not a brill start to the weekend for you, think I'd dose up and go out anyway
Raph, sounds like good day 4 U, can we swap our days!
So what have I done today - ermm not much
Needed to go to pay a cheq into the bank and nip to Wilko (saw both the things you buying lilme and liked them both myself) so decided to walk. DD wanted to come and we ended up being in town 3 1/2 hours and my feet were killing me time we got home so I sat down and guzzled tea before taking the car back to do the food shopping. That still sits on the table and we havent had any tea yet, but only me and DD as OH has gone to work again (stupid prat spent most of the day on the internet and has only had about 2 hours kip so hope he gets a chance to get some tonight!)
So plan is shopping away, tea chill tonight then clean up tomorrow as not going to go out at all.
Have a good night everyone

vanilla ((hugs)) think I'd be keeping out of his way aswell, same as I have tried to do with DP today or I'll blow a fuse too, need to think about it this time before I deal with it.
Kaz that's good because I actually haven't physically seen them myself :rotfl: we don't have a wilkos near by so gone by what the picture looked like, I just want something to last us a little while that isn't white plastic as our set was stolen when we were at the last house. Looking forward to having something more comfy than the step to sit on as I ended up with a square bottom earlier. ***puts hand out for Kalms*** know what you mean about the headache, I've had some sinus congestion too but wondering if it's maybe the hayfever and not a cold (I got diagnosed with hayfever after thinking I'd had a cold for several months) I don't usually take meds for headaches but these have been so bad I can't see.One day I might be more organised...........

Thanks Kaz, that's a good point actually, I wonder what's in the magic cupboard that might be good for stress (not including the hammer for bopping those who are causing it over the head) **off to look in the cupboard and fill the DW while I am there as I think the kids have finished their fruit now**
ETA ****
PigpenI haven't ordered the loungers yet so still have left overs on mine, the code of course helped, so mine was all FREE
I think I will have a look at ones in shops before I order them as I have had loungers which have broken before so want something that can cope with DS2 whacking them backwards.
DSs now getting on my nerves, so they're going to bed, back when I have kicked them upstairs and done the above jobs! One day I might be more organised...........
