[strike]DH[/strike] We used moss killer 1st - so that it was easier to tell[strike] how bad[/strike] where the moss was. Then it was scarified and given a really good rake followed by a high cut (so that it can pick up loose debris) Now we just need to deal with why we actually get the moss  It isn't lack of sun - just bad drainage... Hopefully it will be worth it in the end - to have a green grassy lawn instead of just a green area :o :rotfl: There is loads of info out there give us a shout if you want some links to websites.

I need to finish up (made the mistake of checking out what I had missed on iplayer) *slaps wrists* :rotfl:

raph I don't know how but if we just keep posting we'll get to the next page soon :D

Chasingbutterflies thanks, I have some moss killery stuff to put on, might drop you a PM tomorrow about it, think ours is both lack of sun and drainage

Actually I am really tired so must get to bed again, see if I can sleep this time. I came back down to look at holidays, partly wishful thinking, trying to decide if I should just save up enough to get passports(HOW MUCH!!!!!!) and take the boys on a small european holiday as their first ever one abroad, possibly be able to go this year or risk going the whole hog and save up for the trip we really want to do which is Florida which I think will take me to at least next year (admittedly I don't know what either costs!)

I can't decide :( I definately need to do some more research etc

    Right, good night everyone.
One day I might be more organised...........

  • In the spirit of fixing the page for you raph.

I have just put all the toys the kids left outside away and it is sooooo mild out there. There is a breeze but it is warm - so much so that I got a bit carried away finding where missing (kids) watering cans etc had gone to :rotfl:

It is late I am sure I can come up with some random nonsense in a while!

Well it's cold but not too cold, I didn't have to shiver that much, stupid dog won't go out if I don't....

Right time for bed, inspired by Kaz's lovely meal plan I think I might just try and get myself to sleep by making myself do a meal plan for longer...sounds daft but helps thinking of something else instead of other things going round in my head

    Kaz - what are Iffits?

Lil-me - hope you're feeling a bit happier this morning and you get things sorted out soon - one way or the other - you know we're all here for you.

Johanne - hope you're not feeling as sore this morning - if I lived nearer I'd come and give you a hand.

Nicki - next time DD is away we'll have a shopping trip together!
