Afternoon all. I'm going to have to contact my mate and ask for a rain check. I started feeling ill last night, a cough has developed that makes me feel sick whenever I cough, I've got a stinking cold, my throat is sore from coughing and my head feels like its about to explode :o Blooming typical that I'd get sick this weekend while DD is away

I've been out and run some errands that I HAD to do today and now my plan is to wash up (didn't do it last night) then either curl up and go to sleep or watch Buffy videos for a bit. My pyjamas are calling me so I must be feeling rough, infact I feel worse now that I did when I woke up :o Will have to find the medicine while I'm in the kitchen.

Will probably catch up properly later if I manage to get some sleep.

Thanks for all the Birthday wishes.

Managed to get in somewhere for my hair cutting.

Nice place, gave me a proper coffee when I got there, massaged my back etc. So I'm sat there thinking, this is nice but how bl00dy much is it gonna cost me. It came to £35  . (most I've ever spent on a cut and blow) It looks nice though and I suppose as it is my birthday I can just about allow the expense. And seeing as though it's about a year since I had it cut last, it's not that much. There just about justified the cost to myself :D .

Right, need to go do some flying. Whilst the kids were at their party I decided to meet my mum for a beer instead of cleaning  .

Going to do my ironing well the 2000 Guineas is on. I have a little wager on Henrythenavigator (free bet from PaddyPower)

lil_me, I've just been reading the back posts and it sounds like your DH is being a *******! Mine is too so I can rwally sympathise with you. My DH, who went missing last weekend has slipped away again today. I found him in the pub last week. He didn't work for 4 months and got really down and now he has some money in his pocket is spending it like a silly boy with his pocket money.GRRRR. Why are they so immature?

Anyway I am looking for an offer for somewhere to stay so I can go and see my family next weekend. I will have to go with him though so I hope he isn't a twit there too.

poohbear ((hugs)) been through that one myself, I remember once when he got made redundant and was sick of being skint he smashed a money bottle we had in temper, I suppose it's self esteem issues with not working etc that gets them down.

Good news, DS2 can ride his bike :D he's struggling with hills, came off 4 times but something he's found so hard and has conquered! Think it'll be a while before we get the stabalizers off but it's a start. DS1 screamed of course when we even tried to get him on it but will keep trying. Suppose another thing conquered as DP actually made the effort to take him out on it.

Dishwasher is in bits again because it's not emptying, thought Bosch were supposed to be good! Stupid thing. I think I will make hobnobs once that is working again as I seem to have a large amount of marg and butter (I made them with butter last time...mmm)

nicki hope you feel better soon, just been to the shop myself for cold stuff, think the headache I had was part stress and 90% sinuses.
One day I might be more organised...........
