Millie-they look lovely. I haven't tried a bar and toggle fastener yet but they look nice on the charm bracelets. I was looking on ebay for some chain but it's quite pricey!!! Where do you buy your chain from??

Just a quick post to say well done all of you :D. They are brilliant! I wish i had the patience to make necklaces etc, but i am soo impatient and i have fat shakey fingers so it would not be good ! LOL.

They look really nice - I will definately be logging on to my dads account soon and looking out for them. My cousin who i do not speak to has his own stall making necklaces etc but i think his look cheap and tacky. But these are really nice - i love the colours.

Millie you are really talented i must say! The colours work great together to.

I also think its nicer to have hand made jewellery because you can have a one off necklace/pair of earrings then anyone else:D.

Keep it up everyone, they look great so far and i cant wait to see more :P

The one of a kind angle is the one that I use when trying to coax money out of people, really stressing, that although I may make two necklaces similar, they will always use different beads and in a different style, so they will always be different pieces that no one else will have.

Obviously if someone want 6 pairs of earrings all identical, then providing I have/can source the beads, then they can have then identical. (providing it is do-able, I made a pair of wirework earrings yesterday and both the earrings do differ slightly, I guess I just couldn't manipulate the wire the same way twice!)

    Thanks Vicks

As to the cane beads, I think they came from Hobbycraft (yea I know, but I had some vouchers to spend!) they were in bags of assorted glass beads for about £4.99. I think I may have seen some on Ebay, not all that sure.

Wow Jo - you really are a pro. What lovely things you make. I need to keep practising and try some new things!!!!

Your charm bracelets are fab. I need to try out these toggle clasps as they look great.

I was in Hong Kong recently and wish I had bought loads more stuff from there. They have a whole street of shops dedicated to jewellery making and other bits and bobs. I would have spent far longer there but my sister who I went with is not very interested in these things!!!

    Hi Sarah

Well I got my chain whilst I was in Hong Kong and wish I bought more of it!!! I get my lobster clasps on ebay but have yet to try the toggle clasps. I think most of us get our stuff on ebay. Chain is available on ebay but compared to the price I paid in HK it's alot more expensive!!! Someone else may be able to tell you a cheaper place for chains, i think I had asked the same question abit earlier but waiting for suggestions from the others!!!!
