Has anyone worked with paper beads before. I was looking on this site and came across these:

They look very interesting! Lovely colours also.
Anyone know much about the cost of silver plate bookmarks-they type you hang charms from. Someone has asked me if I can make some but they are quite pricey on ebay. Saw some for around 54p each - is that good? Anyone have any cheaper suppliers??
Thanks!
54p sounds good. I have seen them for more than twice that. Can you let me know the seller, please, Thanks:D0 -

Hi Milie
I just did a buy it now for 12 bookmarks but there are more left!!!! The seller is in the US and ID is lulumac, item number 130207589268.
They give shipping discount also if you buy more stuff from them.
I like the chains you used on your charm bracelets, where did you get them from as I am finding chains quite pricey!!0 -
Sarah - I'm off to pay a visit to Bamba Beads today!!!!
Been and come back - whoa he is expensive for beads. Some of the lamp beads that he was selling for £1 or more each are like 13-15p each on ebay. I picked up some of the 5p beads as the colours were bright but that was it!!!!! It was nice to see the lamp beads though-I can order them on ebay now and know how they look!!!! Saw you veggie beads there Sarah!0 -
Jo - thanks for the beadservice link had a nosey round and some of the stuff is really resonable and postage is cheap!

Hey Angie, glad it was helpful in some ways, its nice to see how things look isn't it. I'll have to have a look on Ebay, I don't buy many beads anymore, I have tubs full that I do nothing with. Maybe I should have a de-stash!
I got some beads from a soap website (random) they were a big bag of glass beads for £5 I think. There's loads of them but they are all a bit lame, I get fed up of seeing the same stuff everywhere. Does anyone get bead magazines? You see some amazing stuff in those (I just read them in WHSmith) why don't we get great stuff in the UK too? Sulking here lol
I'm about to buy some bronze filigree from Ebay, has anyone used this before?
My craft night if sometime in June.. must chase that up, also been invited to have a stall at a fundraising event, but thats next week, so don't think I'll be able to do that, this piggin leg!"The great pleasure of a dog is that you may make a fool of yourself with him and not only will he not scold you, but he will make a fool of himself too."- Samuel Butler0 -

I got them from Jilly Beads and I think they were 90p each. I have tried makein gmy own in the past, but they were no way as robust as these0 -
Millie - have been looking at Jillys Bead - great site and nicely priced. Postage is also reasonable there. Her clearance beads are good value.
The bookmarks are 5 inches long so large - I duno where I got the idea from that they were mini ones!!0 -
Hi everyone
I'm starting to panic big time about this craft fair (will I have enough stuff etc etc) and the earring displays I ordered from ebay still havent arrived. Silly daft me didn't realise they were coming from Hong Kong not Manchester like it said on the auction and im in a big beady tigertail mess as I type! Not to mention the fact that im supposed to be packing as we move house in 2 weeks and im nowhere near organised aaaaaaaaarrrrgh!!!!
If any of you do craft fairs, on average how much stuff do you take with you?

Vicks, breathe in..... breathe out.... and relax
Now I bet you have loads of stuff really, and if you haven't it really doesn't matter as long as you cover the price of your stall. Have you laid it all out and had a look at how to arrange it?
I had an idea about earrings I'm going to use at my next stall. Have you got a printer? You could print out some card with a nice pattern or logo. I'll be using my logo and website address. Then just cut it into squares or rectangles and poke each pair of earrings through its own piece of card. You can write the prices on the back too. That might do until you get your earring display.
Have you worked out your prices yet?"The great pleasure of a dog is that you may make a fool of yourself with him and not only will he not scold you, but he will make a fool of himself too."- Samuel Butler0
