Slightly calmed down now, had a nice strong cup of coffee.

I haven't priced anything yet, im off into town later to buy some teeny price tags and hoping my friend (who also makes jewellery and im sharing the stall with) will help me decide. I have a good idea of what each piece has cost me to make, so as long as thats covered and a touch of profit would be nice. I'm worried im not going to sell anything. last time i did a craft fair i made cards, and i sat behind my little pasting table for 5 hours and didnt sell a thing!

I dont have a printer at the mo, but thats a really good idea with the card. I have everything else virtually sorted (paper gift bags, poly grip bags, business cards, cashbox/float, necklace stands borrowed from a friend). Im going to lay everything out tonight and see what i can do with it all...sugar...i've just dropper a bag of swarovskis all over the flippin floor..............

Hi Vicks - I'm sure you will do just fine at the craft fair. I've never done one so no idea how much stuff you'd need. Sarah may know though as she is doing one soon.

It's irritating when ebay sellers say they are in the UK and then you find they are not. I've seen a few that still come up when I filter UK sellers only only to find it says they are in Hong Kong!!

When is the craft fair??? I've had stuff from HK take around 8 days to come so hopefully you will get it in time for the fair.

    Good Luck!

I've been making mobile charms but having great trouble trying to get the split rings to go through the holes on the metal tube piece on the phone lariat. I can only get it through one hole so they are abit lob sided!!! My nails are ruined from trying to hold the ring open!!

Don't speak to me about split rings lol I've ordered some brass filigree which I intend to oxidise, so it will have a vintage look to it. I didn't order any chain as it was sooo expensive. I saw a jump ring maker in Hobbycraft, so treated myself I can make all my own jump rings now, which is good. So anyway I thought I'd try to make some chain from some brass wire I got. My fingers are killing me trying to close all those little hoops! Should have just got the chain :P

I ordered some lush czech jewels too, am planning to wrap them in the aged filigree, have a nice picture in my head but whether it works out or not we will see :D

Here's some of the jewels I've ordered....

Wow lovely Sarah - those red ones looks like real rubies!!!! You are very artistic. I went to Hobbycraft on Monday night, expensive isn't it!!! I only bought a Fimo jewellery making set that was reduced from £6.99 to £3.49 more so to just play with the clay and make some beads-or try!!!!
