Thanks Millie, trying to think of some other ways to use the chandeliers!!!! They are very effective and cheap also!!!!
Let me know what you think of the Hong Kong seller.
Good luck for tomorrow - hope you sell loads and everything goes well for you. Are you selling any other bits apart from jewellery??
ThanksI am also taking some cards
Sorry if I missed it, but do you sell your jewellery? If not, you should do
I am rather happy having sold £86 worth today:eek:0 -

You've sussed me out Angie, who doesn't love cakes
I love your earrings, have you tried seeing if you can dangle a bead in the middle? That might look good too. The stars are lovely, where did you get those from?
Millie, thanksI made my auntie a brooch when I was about 12 from fimo. It's horrendous, green with a big gold bow stuck on it, she still wears it ALL the time, I get so embarrassed but she insists she loves it lol. I think I'll make a new one now I've improved a little
£86 well done you!!
Thanks for the nice comments x
Vicks I really love the memory wire bracelet and the hair barrettes are gorgeous, just need to grow my hair a teensy bit longer then I can have one
Did you use a digital camera? If so it probably has a macro setting on it, thats what you need to use to get good close up pictures. The symbol on the camera is usually a flower, like a tulip. Try that and always press the shutter down a little to let the camera focus before taking it. Did you have your sale yet?"The great pleasure of a dog is that you may make a fool of yourself with him and not only will he not scold you, but he will make a fool of himself too."- Samuel Butler0 -
Yes i used a digital camera - its got the little flower icon so will use that in future!
Craft fair was today - went pretty well for my first one, was mega busy and sold a fair few pieces, so i'm made up!
I also got asked if i would consider hosting a jewellery making group, sounded like a good idea so i agreed! Just a small affair, maybe 10 or so ladies which is really cool!!0 -

Sarah - I did think about hanging a decoration in the middle of the chandelier but it hung down abit too low on these ones but I think I will make some with the hanging bead. The little stars were on a pair of earring I bought for less than 20p in Bombay, the earrings broke but I kept all the little bits-knew they'd come in handy!!
Vicks - those hair barrettes are really pretty - did you use wire to attach the beads??? You did really well, all lovely. It's great seeing what everyone is making, especially as I've only started recently!!
I got some beads come today taht I ordered from Jilly Beads - I ordered from her clearance range, works out nice and cheap and some different colours there. Still waiting for the bookmarks to come from the US!!0 -

So glad it went well Vicks, now you've done one you'll know what to expect and won't be so nervous next time! The beading group sounds like fun, I don't think I could make jewellery in front of anyone else, I swear too much!
Angie you sound like such a jet-setter!Next time you go somewhere like that you will take a shopping list from us all won't you?
I'm waiting for my brass filigree and jewels to arrive, hurry up! I can't wait"The great pleasure of a dog is that you may make a fool of yourself with him and not only will he not scold you, but he will make a fool of himself too."- Samuel Butler0 -
Haha Sarah - I always get back and wish I had bought more stuff!!!!
Ahhh just lit one of your melts - have you opened your site up yet?? How's your leg???
I've just got all the bead drawers laid out and my little table up ready to make a few bits tonight!!0 -
Yay Vicks, glad it went well!!
I made it to mine, together with Mum and mother in law- It went ok. Slowish at first then it picked up, so I was happy and MIL marched round the corner with remaining stuff to the florist I sell in and sold half of what was left:eek:
So all in all a happy bunnyAlthough it has already been spent on hay for horses!!
Oh and mum has joined the local WI- a less appropriate WI candidate I can't imagine:rotfl:0 -
