it puts beads on thread quicker than you can by hand...lol...
Click on the link i gave in my post above and it lets you see paul demonstrating the spinner...hope that helps0 -
I love my bead spinner, especially when making beaded flowers as it takes sooooo much time off the making time, rather than stringing each bead at a time on the wire.0

Bead spinners are fine if you only want one type of bead strung - ie lots of the same colour or lots of random colours all tipped in together.
Me, I prefer to have control over my bead colours
so although I have a plastic version of the bead spinner, I don't use it very often. working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -

Sorry, didnt see this. It's not an easy thing to describe, best thing to do is do a google for French Beaded Flowers and there are a few sites that give instructions.

I am so glad I've found this thread. I was just about to pay someone to make my wedding jewellery, but I'd much rather make my own. I'd like to make a pair of those cluster, drop type earrings. Lots of little beads on a chain type thing, and some sort of chunky, bead necklace. Maybe a twist or something that looks like three rows sitting close below one another. Any advice at all?
Please?0 -
