I just received the jig that I ordered from America-it came very quickly, so quick that I haven't bought wire yet to try it out!!!!

Will let you know how I get on with it!!!

Hope you have fun with it Angie.

I haven't done all that much recently, sales seem to have gone down on my site (though the traffic is there), and I have a fair bit made up, plust I have been busy with work, school and kids.

I do have a craft fair this Saturday and was watching the weather forcast with horror this morning, but unless the town really is awash I am going to attend it. I seem to do better when it's wet for some reason. (last one last year, was inside, but we only got about 10 people through the door cos of the rain, and I took about £70, which I was happy with lol)

Lat year at this craft fair, the first job was to round up all the gazebos that had taken flight with the wind over night...well we got a free bacon butty for helping out :)

    Thanks Angie100

    I really enjoyed making it.

I've just opened my Dawanda shop so I'm thinking of trying to sell something similar on there.

Jo - good luck today at your craft fair. It's just started raining here today so I hope the weather is better where you are!

I had some lovely watch faces arrive from China today. They have a place to attach a beaded bracelet strap onto them so will be making up some of these soon. I hadn't tried this seller on ebay before but they were excellent - well packed and an extra battery!!! Will let you know how I get on and post some pics.

Off to look at wire on ebay now for my new jig!!!

    Hope you are all ok!

CrepeSuzette - did you know that pinkdoodle.com only charge you 3% for selling something. It looks very similar to Dawanda but Dawanda charge 5% and they are planning to introduce a listing fee.

I think they both offer the same kind of service.

Out here in our part of Spain, it's all the rage to wear bracelets and necklaces threaded with a fine gauzey type ribbon. The beads are threadedand then knotted individually ore in 2s, 3s or 4s depending on size and pattern. The necklaces and bracelets do not have fasteners, the end are just tied together in a bow when you wear them. have also seen watch bracelets done like this as well. Has this fashion reached the UK yet or here in Spain are we catching up with you?

    Hi all

Did quite well at the craft fair, was fighting with the wind all day, which kept blowing my busts over, but I took my stall fee, plus a little extra, gave loads of business cards out and got invited to another 3 fairs, all of them near Christmas, and one of them is a two day event, which I can quite looking forward too, especially as the organiser said they only wanted local people and they didn't want to duplicate any crafts :)

Sandy... I have seen some done with the gauzy ribbon, not something that I have gone into yet (my knots are terrible lol)
