if i put up a camera can i be prosecuted for invading his privacy if it looks into both gardens???

I have a camera trained to the front of my house, not my property but it records those coming up the path. I had an incident where by it caught a person leaving the scene and is being used in court. I certainly dont have any signs up but I think it might be different if trained on one particular house. I would however log your concern, as I have also had a problem with "why didnt you tell us sooner"
