Its not wasting the PCs time as your are genuinely concerned and its not like you are going to ring 999 you will be ringing your local station and asking for a visit or you can visit them by appointment. It is their job remember this is one of the thing they are there for.
Good luck0 -
I have the same problem with a old guy over the road he's a nosey neighbour and i hate the old codger with a passion!!
He's a right pervert, my bed is under the window (its a double bed) when i have a bath or shower and come into my bedroom he's always out in his garden pretending to do stuff and then see's me quite convenient!
so now what i do is stick fingers up at him so he knows ive spotted him and he looks away quick as jumping jack flash lol!!!
I think you should have a word with a community police officer and get something sorted out to stop the dirty old perv!

I'd setup my camera and wait for proof before speaking to police. Unless you're planning to move soon you're going to be stuck with these neighbours so you must be 110% sure before taking action.0

I'm fairly certain that filming him without his knowledge is against the law. I remember reading a story about someone who had a CCTV camera outside his house trained on his motorbike to prevent it being stolen but he had to take it down. Same as if you go to buildings where there's CCTV there are always signs telling you it's there.
JxxAnd it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end0 -
I think its easy to fix your problem as the others have said... if you don't already have nets at the window then put some up.. he can't see through them and won't know if your daughter is in the room or not so there will be no problem... Make sure she knows to draw the big curtains if she needs to put the light on or is going to be getting undressed... he can't see through them and neither can she unless she looks outside... If you do these two simple things then the problem is solved without involving anyone else.... once he knows there is nothing to see he won't be bothering anyway....#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

if he does it again, call out as loud as possible to stop looking - others may hear / see him, then you have witnesses..
i would also report it to the police.Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..

He could be innocently in the garden at night. I know I like to wander about at night. And if you see something move, it's natural to look up, at which point she could be spotting him.
It would be irresponsible for you to spread unfounded rumours. Indeed, imagine if he were completely innocent, your daughter was exaggerating and a crowd fire bombed his house... that would make you accessory to murder among other things.
Do things properly or don't do them at all.
I have experience of complete lies being spread about a family member and my old parents' house was stoned and their front windows smashed in, just because an alcoholic woman didn't like any men and she'd spread rumours about all men to her young son, who would then go down the youth club.0 -
Nets are a good idea, also drawn curtains when the light's on.
If he still appears to be gawping at her bedroom window, I'm sure you've got a hosepipe. We found in our village it was amazing how much water went over the fence and half drowned the chap who was peering around a bit more than he needed to......................I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

If a CCTV camera ONLY films your own property, then it is allowed, but I doubt that would help since your neighbour is on his own property.
Obviously blinds are the way to go. I always close the curtains/blinds if I'm getting changed/showered, even if there's no one about (I've heard too many window cleaner stories lol):DCross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219.
