Speculation because you are basing your comments on a one sided report of events, which may, or may not be factual and / or complete.;)

If you are taking that line, this whole thread,(and most if not all of the others on this forum), are also speculation.

Would the lorry have set off as fast as a car? probably not.

    Speculation therefore.

Who said it needed to "set off"? the traffic could have been moving!

I know who I'd rather see on the road, and it isn't the insured driver.

Indeed, we do not know all the facts so we are speculating.

What we do know is that the OP drove illegally without insurance - no speculation there.

Why is the fine always less than the cost of insurance.??? This doesn't discourage people from taking the risk....whack up the fines IMHO.

The fine is up to £5000 with 6-8 points on your license with a discretionary ban.

How can an illegal driver (because thats what you are/were) complain about someone who is legal?
How do we know that you didn't go to early at the lights, we have only your word.
As you have already proved yourself criminal enough to drive without insurance (& it sounds like its far from the first time) do you really think your word stands for much now?
    My word?

    - Ive got 2 witnesses contact details. I didnt ask them to be my witnesses they offered themselves to be witnesses straightaway.

-police said they will look into the video cameras

I know that i was in the green, besides i didnt hit her , she hit me so she was well late jumping the light. 1 of the witnesses is the lorry driver behind me who acknowlodges i was in the green. We'll have the videos as evidence anyway.

It might only be speculation if she would have hit the lorry or not but the lorry could have hit her instead also.. BUT I also think the pedestrian crossing on the road she was on, was green to pedestrians... Im almost sure it was, because i cross that road to go to college

There would be of no benefit to me to start this thread if i was lying. Im stating all the facts as accurately as i can to see if anyone could tell me where i might stand on this...

There was a lorry behind! the light jumper would have hit that! no speculation.

Hardly...they'd have seen what was going on which is why the lorry didn't rear-end the OP.

Wonder what they'd have done if they knew you weren't insured

Oh and because she was insured she can be a careless driver?? Thats exactly what causes death on the roads! I was uninsured ok i was in the wrong but that will cause a lot of financial hassel (to me included).. But metal gets replaced as i said...The ruining of lifes for careless driving doesnt

I was only illegal as far as the insurance goes...I will regret for a very long time for not having paid £15/£20 to get temporary cover..

Im not defending people who drive uninsured, NO. They must be prosecuted as i will be...
